We've long moved on from that old fishing village now, instead we sit on the outskirts of an old town watching the sky as it is painted with bright stars shooting across the setting sun. Despite the beauty in front of me I struggle to focus on much more than Sokka's presence against me, our shoulders resting on each others.

"Wow, this is amazing to watch," Katara smiles to herself as she say it.

"It's beautiful," I speak without looking away, evidently incapable of pulling my eyes away from such an entrancing sight.

Sokka nods along, "Kind of makes you realise how insignificant we are." My eyes flick over to Sokka but his eyes don't leave the sky, it's a struggle to place what he might be feeling but he certainly seems lost in thought.

I'm snapped out of my concern when Toph chimes in, "Eh, you've seen nothing once, you've seen it a thousand times."

Without warning Sokka stands to his feet, leaving me to fumble with catching my weight no longer being held up by him. "Oh man, you've never not seen anything like this." Following his eyeline I am met with the sight of one of the stars - or "meteors" as Sokka tells me they're called - getting much closer than it is supposed to.

Joining Sokka standing I watch as the meteor gets ever closer until it looks much less magical and much more how Sokka had described - an ugly rock burning through the atmosphere. The meteor shoots over our heads, crashing in the hills not far from us. As quick as my feet will take me I rush to Appa, the others on my tail.

My eyes widen when I am greeted with an arial view of the crash site: "The fire is gonna destroy that town!" Katara yells, clearly just as panicked as me.

"not if we can stop it!" Aang says.

Appa lands not too far from the meteor, the others jump off and just before I can follow Katara stops me, jumping to take the reins as she speaks, "Tenshi, stay with me. There's a creek over here. We should bend the water onto the fire." I nod and Katara signals for Appa to take off.

Once the two of us reach the creek both of us collect as much water as we can hold, each of us bending a large globule on either side of Appa. When we reach the crash site we allow them to flood and drown the fire.

When the fire eventually stops burning we land in front of Sokka, Aang and Toph quickly joining us. Soon landing, I get a better view of Sokka only to see he is absolutely drenched, "Oh spirits, Sokka, are you okay?"

He wipes his face before deadpan responding, "Peachy."

The next day, we venture into town for some food, finding a quaint place for lunch. "These people have no idea how close they were to getting toasted last night."
