After Shi Qi left, Lin Kong's excitement was evident, but remembering Jiang Yuan's earlier look, she burrowed under the covers, planning to secretly misbehave when Jiang Yuan joined her.

Jiang Yuan crossed her arms and watched Lin Kong with amusement. With a sly smile, she said, "No one's here to interrupt now. Do what you want, quickly, so I can sleep."

Her eyes twinkled mischievously, but Lin Kong, caught up in her eagerness, didn't notice. She asked excitedly, "Really?"

Had she paused to think, she'd realize Jiang Yuan's words were unusually blunt and illogical. But her mind was set on one thing, leaving no room for other thoughts.

Leaning lazily against the headboard, Jiang Yuan yawned dramatically, feigning impatience, "Of course. Hurry up, or I'll go to sleep, and don't bother me then."

Lin Kong urged, "Wife, lie down quickly."

Jiang Yuan chuckled at Lin Kong's impatience, but her face remained serious, "Sitting is fine."

Sitting? Lin Kong imagined a sitting position for intimacy, her face turning crimson at the thought—both thrilling and embarrassing. Reluctantly, she agreed, "Alright."

Emerging from the covers, Lin Kong uncovered the blanket over Jiang Yuan's lap. Following Jiang Yuan's lead, she straddled her lap, blushing at the position.

Jiang Yuan took the opportunity to hold Lin Kong's waist, watching her intently, silently asking why she wasn't moving.

As night deepened, Lin Kong realized time was precious. She wrapped her arms around Jiang Yuan's neck, leaning in for a careful kiss. But the awkward position made her suggest, "Wife, maybe you should lie down?"

With both hands around Jiang Yuan's neck, she couldn't proceed, and sitting was too daring.

Jiang Yuan eyed her, one hand supporting Lin Kong's hips, saying meaningfully, "But sitting feels comfortable."

Startled by the touch, Lin Kong nearly jumped but relaxed when Jiang Yuan's hand stayed still. If this was what Jiang Yuan wanted, she wouldn't hold back, resuming the kiss.

Yet the position made her feel submissive, unable to undress Jiang Yuan, leaving her frustrated. Leaning forehead to forehead, she tried to speak but stopped.

Jiang Yuan found the position convenient, able to reach certain areas with ease, though she feared overwhelming Lin Kong.

Sensing Lin Kong's hesitation, Jiang Yuan initiated the kiss, guiding her. As Lin Kong's breathing grew heavier, Jiang Yuan abruptly stopped.

"Wife, why did you stop?" Lin Kong was finally enjoying the moment without thinking, but Jiang Yuan's sudden pause worried her. She feared another excuse to stop.

Jiang Yuan glanced at their hands, saying seriously, "I need to wash my hands."

Lin Kong, feeling clever, replied, "No need, my hands are clean."

Jiang Yuan knew Lin Kong washed secretly each night, thinking she was unaware. Letting Lin Kong steal another kiss, she insisted, "No, you too."

Lin Kong relented, "Alright."

With Shi Qi outside, they washed hands discreetly in the room. But restarting proved difficult.
