Got It Bad

Mizuko kept dividing her attention between Toya, Endeavor, and Shoto. She had never seen Shoto frozen like this before. She couldn't imagine all the emotions swirling inside his brain knowing that his brother was alive and a villain.

She felt sick knowing that when Toya confessed to her why he became Dabi, he was talking about the Todoroki family, the exact family that she was trying to piece back together. The family that was helping her piece herself back together.

"Yeah I look pretty gross now with all these scars. But hurts my own family didn't even recognize me!" Dabi took another dig at his family.

Meanwhile while Dabi was revealing to everyone on the battlefield who he was, he was also revealing himself to the world as well. He had Skeptic takeover all the electronics in Japan as he was now airing the recording that he prepared to air out the dirty laundry of the Todoroki family. He was really going to hurt Endeavor now. And hurt Mizuko.

"I never forgot our family! But you all sure as hell forgot about me. Hell, you all replaced me with this blue haired girl. You couldn't accept me for as I am but you accepted her?! All of you?! I've been watching from the shadows from this entire time. She's turned dad into a big softie, she's made mom smile, she's been the sister that Fuyumi always wanted, she's the new person that Natsuo teases, and of course she's little Shoto's whole world. And I've been alone in this godforsaken hero saturated world!" He screamed out his hatred from Mizuko.

If only Dabi knew how much his words hurt Mizuko just as much his fire. In fact, this burned worse than his fire.

Mizuko then stepped forward with her hand stretched out to him. She couldn't look Dabi in the eye and was focused on her feet. If she looked him the eyes, she felt she wouldn't be able to say the words she needed.

"Toya, I've seen how much your family remembers you. They thought you were dead! I've seen Endeavor pray to your shrine. I've seen how sad the Todoroki family is whenever you're mentioned. I've never wanted to be your replacement. But you can come home. Come home to your family, Toya. They've accepted me as part of the family so consider me your family too! I see you Toya. I understand your pain. But this how this needs to go. You don't need to hurt anyone else!" She now looked at him in the eyes.

Everyone's mouth dropped. It really shouldn't surprise them at what she said because Mizuko always had the kindest heart. She didn't see the villain Dabi in front of her, she saw the crying Toya. Even after all the horrible things he's done to her, she wanted him to come home.

Dabi just got angry. His palms were starting to flicker blue flames as he didn't want her damn pity. She just kept getting under his skin.

"You keep your damn mouth shut! You don't know shit! Would you still want me to 'come home' knowing that I have my entire backstory broadcasting to every device in Japan? About Endeavor's abuse? Or even better yet, your truth? The truth that you're a pathetic pawn for All For One, the great human Nomu! Do you still have that love and kindness in your heart now knowing that all of Japan now knows you're the key to its demise?! Are you still so sorry? Do you despise me now?!" Dabi yelled at her as he revealed that he didn't just reveal the secrets of the Todoroki family- he also just blew her secret to everyone as he twirled around on Gigantomachia.

Mizuko fell to her knees as she forcefully grabbed her hair while trying to fully comprehend everything. She felt her heart pounding out of its chest. She was already physically weak as it was but now she felt like the weight of the world was on her shoulders. Everyone in Japan would be after her now.

Mizuko's panic was the only thing that broke Shoto's cold sweat. He took a knee by her side and put his hand on her shoulder. He looked into her eyes and could see the frozen fear inside of her. Her worst nightmare was coming true.
