You're my Uncle Oboro

Mizuko was lazily walking down the hallway to Nezu's office still half asleep. She yawned and rubbed her blue eyes. After the run in with the villain known as Ending, she and the others didn't get back until nearly 11pm at UA. She was exhausted to say the least.

She finally got to Nezu's office and turned to knob to open the door. She was expecting the small mammal to be sitting at his desk drinking tea but instead she saw Aizawa, Present Mic, and All Might. They looked like they had just seen a ghost.

She rubbed her eyes to focus now and blinked a few times.

"So everything ok? Why was I called down?" She asked while eyeing everyone. She didn't like the vibe that was in the room.

Aizawa and Mic were just silent and looking down. They looked like they couldn't even form words. Mizuko was now getting worried.

"Young Shirakumo... I told them it would be best to not tell you but Aizawa was persistent on letting you go with them.." All Might quivered.

Mizuko now looked at both of them with pleading eyes.

"Shota, Yamada, please. What's going on?"
She meekly asked.

Aizawa ran his hands through his hair. He then rubbed his face in stress. He really didn't know what to think and didn't know if involving Mizuko was the best idea but she was family. She had to know what was going on.

"Tsukauchi and Gran Torino captured Kurogiri. He's in Tartarus now. While there, All Might said they did some testing on him and analyzed him..." Aizawa said lowly.

Mizuko blinked a few times. She couldn't seem to understand why that was such a sad thing. If anything, they should be happy to have figured him out. He was an evil villain and a member of the League. Did they forget that?

"And..? We captured the villain and can analyze him to help take down the league. Isn't that great news?" She asked.

Mic couldn't take it anymore. He kept scratching at it his head.

"They think he's Shirakumo Oboro!" He screamed in agony.

Mizuko felt like she had the wind knocked out her and time was standing still. She felt physically sick hearing that. She had a gut churning feeling in her stomach. She covered her mouth to stifle her coughing as she was trying to keep it together.

But he's dead! Mom and Dad told me died while at UA! He was crushed by a building!

"But Shota? You were there. There's no way that he's Kurogiri. There's no way he would help them!" She cried.

The three heroes just shook their heads.

"Tsukauchi said he would explain more at Tartarus. He needs Mic and Aizawa's help." All Might explained.

Mic then pulled out his car key from his jacket pocket. He flashed them at Mizuko and Aizawa.

"Then we have no time to waste. Let's get the hell over to Tartarus." Mic said seriously.

Mizuko and Aizawa nodded their heads in agreement. They then opened the door and raced to Mic's blue car. All Might was left in their dust and was now alone in the office. He crashed onto the couch and put his head down. He knew All For One was sinister but he really couldn't believe he turned Mizuko's own uncle into a Nomu. He knew it was going to break all their hearts once they learned the truth in Tartarus. He knew it was right to let Mizuko in on this but he wanted to protect her from the incoming pain.

While All Might was wondering if letting Mizuko go was the right idea, Present Mic was driving the three of them on what felt like a highway to hell. He was racing and weaving through traffic. Mizuko was in the back and she felt like she was going to puke while she dug her nails into the side of her seat.
