"You are me... There you are...Human Nomu."

Those words made time stand still for the longest time.

Hawks remembers overhearing Chisaki call Mizuko a monster but Hawks was going so far to defend her and kept thinking he misunderstood. She was just a high school girl, a traumatized child. How could she be the Human Nomu that he had to track down? Was she seriously the monster that was going to destroy Japan?

Hawks could barely get a word out as he felt he was choking. He couldn't get enough air. He had to finally come to terms with reality- Mizuko was the human Nomu that he was searching for.

"Flashfire Fist- Jet Burn!"

Endeavor blasted the Nomu off of him in such anger. His mind was racing. He couldn't believe that annoying girl he got stuck babysitting was really the Human Nomu that the commission was after. He didn't fear her. He pitied her. He knew after that witnessing that trial, her parents must've had a direct involvement.

He pushed back the thought of wondering if this could've happened one of his children due to his blind quest for finding a worthy successor.

He glanced over at former intern who looked like she was about to throw up now that her secret was revealed. Her eyes were widened with fear. She kept running her hands through her hair like she was going insane.

It wasn't his style to be comforting and he knew it wasn't the time to baby her. She was strong and he needed her strength to defeat the Nomu.

"Aqua! You want to be a hero, right?" Endeavor yelled over to her.

Mizuko snapped out of her panic just for a moment. She just shook her head up and down.

"Then protect the citizens! Be a hero! I don't care what the hell you are as long as you are a hero right now. Rescue those who need help. You were a member of my agency so you represent me. So as long as you still want to be a hero, fight with me and rescue those citizens. We will figure out the details later!" Endeavor commanded as he then jumped out the window to find the Nomu.

Mizuko and Hawks couldn't believe Endeavor would be the one to give her a pep talk. Mizuko and Hawks were now left alone and realized despite the hardship between them, they needed to work together. They couldn't let people get hurt because they couldn't work together.

Hawks wanted to feel proud that he completed his mission of finding m the Human Nomu but he just felt guilty. He didn't consider this a win at all.

Mizuko didn't have her hero costume with her. She didn't think a flying Nomu would interrupt their dinner. Although, she did have her goggles from her Uncle Oboro in her bag. She put them on top of her head and glared over to Hawks.

"We need to work together to save everyone. I'm more than just the human Nomu that you and the commission are after. I want to be a hero that saves people. After this, don't expect me to come willingly with you." Mizuko was cold in her words as she sent him an icy stare.

Hawks couldn't believe that she confirmed aloud that she really was the one he was looking for.

"Little chick, please let me explain once this is over. But I do need you to come with me..." Hawks pleaded. As much as he didn't want to subject Mizuko to whatever torture the HPSC had in store, he couldn't fathom not telling the truth. The president said the human Nomu would destroy Japan.

But it was just a high school girl, right? Hawks didn't know what to do other than follow his orders like he always did.

"Don't you fucking call me that. And over my dead body, will I let you take me." Mizuko then slid her goggles over her face.
