Think You Can Handle It, Hawks?

Shoto and the others dropped off Bakugo and Mizuko at the police station. Shoto glanced down at Mizuko who was sleeping peacefully in his arms. He admired how even after being kidnapped and being tortured by All For One, she could still look like the most beautiful person in the world.

Shoto gently woke her up after her sleep. He was just thankful that she was just tired and injured- especially after All for One's black energy quirk transfer. Seeing her endure that while Iida held him down was in Shoto's top three worst memories. He felt powerless as there was nothing he could do as she suffered.

Shoto gently stood her own her feet as she grunted as the sunlight was too bright 

"Hey. I know you're tired but you need to talk to the police. Text me once you're home safe and please, be careful. I love you." Shoto whispered in her ear and kissed her forehead as Bakugo then grabbed her wrist and pulled her along with him to the police station before she could say it back to him.

"Come on, Shirakumo!" Bakugo yelled.

Mizuko looked back and smiled at her friends but it was only short lived as Bakugo pulled harder and nearly ran into the station with her.

Shoto felt an uncomfortable feeling as Bakugo held her wrist and dragged her away. Was this feeling jealousy? He's never felt it before. Is this what it feels like? He wasn't fond of it but he knew he needed to calm down as he knew Mizuko's feelings and she wasn't one to be swayed easily.

"Since when does Kacchan call her Shirakumo?" Midoriya questioned as the door shut to the police station as Bakugo and Mizuko entered.

It was like Midoriya grabbed a knife and stabbed him in the heart.

Iida broke the silence by saying, "Let's hope Bakugo sticks to the plan about not telling the police about the human Nomu project. I do not like withholding information but if the police knew, I fear Shirakumo would be in grave danger.."

It was Shoto's idea. He feared that the Hero Commission would lock her up and worse possibly even experiment on her to try and get closer to defeating All For One. He couldn't let that happen to her. Shoto, Iida, Kirishima, Bakugo, Midoriya, and Yaoyorozu all agreed to keep their lips shut about the human Nomu project.

In the police station, Bakugo and Shirakumo sat next to each other on a bench waiting for to be called in for getting their statements. Mizuko was tapping her foot and biting her lip anxiously waiting to be called.

"Bakugo, you're up." A police officer called from down the hall.

Bakugo got up and looked at the anxious blue haired girl before him. He wondered how that nervous girl could be the same reckless idiot who took on a Nomu and All for One himself. He huffed before bending down for his eyes to meet hers and placing a hand on her shoulder.

"We all agreed to not say a word about the human Nomu project. All for One attacked you and your cloud quirk was a late bloomer anomaly, got it?" He whispered in her ear.

Mizuko looked shocked that he could read her mind. She smiled at him and said, "Thanks Bakugo for everything these last few days."

Bakugo huffed and turned around quickly so she wouldn't see the red blush on his cheeks. He was growing angry at his realization and cursing at himself.

Dammit, why the hell am I falling for her?! She's got that damn half and half bastard.

Mizuko just got done telling her side of the story from the moment she was abducted at camp to the moment she arrived at the station to detective Tsukauchi. She liked him so she felt uneasy lying to him about where her cloud quirk came from and lying that All For One tried killing her when actually he was trying to modify her into his human Nomu.
