Drowning. (Shoto Todoroki x OC)

Destined for Great Things

Mizuko could barely pay attention to Iida's  match. She was nervous about her upcoming match with Tokoyami. She wanted to also go up and hug Todoroki. She was happy he accepted his left side. Mizuko started to get up from her seat only to be pulled back down by the collar of her PE uniform.

"Seaweed. Don't get distracted. I want you focused so I can beat you in the semi finals."

She at first glared at Bakugo. He had no clue about of what Mizuko wanted to accomplish but he knew Todoroki would distract her. Mizuko then realized he actually was right. She wouldn't be focused if she went to see Todoroki now. She the smiled to herself because Bakugo must've believes she would beat Tokoyami.

"How kind of you to believe in me, Bakugo." She teased.

He had mini explosions going off in his hands while shouting, "Don't overthink it! I want a chance destroy you in front of the world!" Mizuko rubbed the back of her head while a sweat drop formed.

"Uh huh.." She softly said.

Kirishima then tapped her on the shoulder. Mizuko looked at he was pointing at and he was pointing at to the screen. Iida beat Shiozaki and that meant it was Mizuko's turn.

"You got this Shirakumo!" He shouted as he patted her back and pushed her forward.

"Go Mizuko!" Mina cheered.

Mizuko smiled as she walked down to the ring. It was nice to have such kind friends who supported her. She was then wondering what Todoroki was thinking during her matches. Was he planning on cheering for her? Would he even watch someone that wasn't his friend?

Mizuko shook her head and hit the side of her forehead to shake those thoughts off. It was time to be serious. She entered the ring and was faced with Tokoyami on the other side. She knew Dark Shadow was both an excellent offense and defense so she had to be quick and think of a counterattack.

"Shirakumo. I look forward to our fight. I intend to give it my all." Tokoyami spoke in his deep dark voice.

Mizuko nodded. "I wouldn't expect anything less! I'll be giving it my all too!" She put her hands out in front of her prepared to fight.

Up in the viewing area, Bakugo felt a presence join them in the viewing area. He knew Deku's surgery was going to take a bit so it couldn't have been him. He turned around only to have his blood pressure raised.

"Why are you here, IcyHot?!" He growled.

"I came to find Shirakumo before her match but I was too late it looks. I owe her an apology." Todoroki was stoic.

Mina was clapping her hands together with hearts in her eyes. Kaminari and Mineta look depressed as they felt they missed their nonexistent chance. Kirishima looked at with him concern as he was overprotective of her. Bakugo's anger never faded.

"Save your shit with Shirakumo until after the festival. I want to beat her at her best and that can't happen if she's distracted. You got that?!" Bakugo yelled in his face.

Todoroki didn't seem fazed on the outside. On the inside, he was conflicted. He needed to talk to Shirakumo and tell her he's sorry and he made a mistake. However, Bakugo had a point. It could cloud her head and alter her performance. He didn't want to interfere with her chances of getting scouted.

"You're right, Bakugo. I wouldn't want to interfere with her performance."

Bakugo was stunned. He was prepared to fight him. "Well.. of course I'm right!"

Kirishima and Kaminari pulled him off of Todoroki. "Man, you have to fight me next round. Calm the hell down. And Todoroki, I hope you mean it. I hope you will talk to and apologize to Shirakumo after all of this is over. I don't like seeing her upset." Kirishima was usually never serious until this moment. He thought of Mizuko as a little sister and would do anything to protect her.
