A Shooting Star

It was an hour into the birthday party for Mizuko. Mizuko was soaking in all the love from her Class A family. Even All Might, The Big 3, and of course Present Mic were there to celebrate her. She never really celebrated her birthday before thanks to her parents so this was something new to her. October 10th used to just be another day of the year.

Mizuko was eating her strawberry cake on the couch sitting next to Mina, Hagakure, and Jiro. Shoto was standing behind her on the couch talking to Iida about something they learned in class until Shoto's phone went off yet again.

"Hey Shoto, who keeps calling you?" Mizuko turned her head around.

Shoto rolled his eyes. "It's my dad."

Endeavor was still a sore subject for him. He respected that he was a powerful hero that earned his ranking but he earned the lowest ranking of a father. Mizuko could never forgive Endeavor for what he did to Shoto yet she was grateful for the time she spent with him under his internship. She had the same philosophy as Shoto-great hero, terrible father.

Mizuko curved her lips hearing that. "You know he's just going to keep calling until you pick up. If he calls again, just answer so he stops."

As if Endeavor knew Mizuko said that, Shoto's phone went off again. Shoto huffed as he realized Mizuko was right.

"I apologize but I have to step out." Shoto leaned down and kissed her forehead before he went outside to take his father's call.

Hagakure and Mina were swooning and making all types of noises that confused Mizuko.

"Ahh so not fair that the most handsome guy in school is so in love with you! I mean just hearing what he did to save you in the hospital gave me goosebumps!" Hagakure screamed.

Mizuko looked at her even more confused. She didn't hear anything about Shoto doing anything at the hospital for her.

"What are you talking about Hagakure?"

Mina and Jiro's face looked surprised that she didn't know what Shoto did for her. Tokoyami told Kaminari who of course told everyone.

Aizawa noticed this and tapped her shoulder.

"Hey. I have something for you." Aizawa tried deflecting the conversation. He didn't want Mizuko to find out from the girls.

He then went over to the dining room area and Mizuko got up and followed. Hado and Amajiki were in there and Aizawa shot them a glare to leave the room. Amajiki panicked and looked at the ground while trying to leave. Hado didn't even react to the glare, she was just as oblivious as always.

"Oh oh Shirakumo! I'm glad to see you're doing alright. Happy birthday!! Thank goodness Todoroki was there in the hospital when they needed you to have a blood transfusion. How does it feel to have Todoroki's blood inside you? Does it feel hot and cold?!" Hado excitedly got all in her face while Amajiki facepalmed.

Mizuko stepped back while her mind was racing.

Todoroki's blood inside me? Blood transfusion? What is she talking about?

Amajiki put his hand on Hado while covering his eyes. He was avoiding the angry stare from Aizawa. Aizawa's eyes were glowing red as he was glaring at Hado and Amajiki.

"Uh Hado... I think we should get some cake." Amajiki muttered out as he got the hint and pulled her away from Aizawa's wrath.

They left the room before Aizawa somewhat calmed down. He took a deep breath in.

"Hado really can be annoying. That was one of the things I pulled you over here to tell you. What the girls were all saying is true. The hospital ran out of your type of blood that morning and you desperately needed blood. Todoroki donated his blood to you so the doctors could take care of you.."
