Drowning. (Shoto Todoroki x OC)

You Will Be A Todoroki

It was almost a full week training at the Endeavor Agency. Mizuko was working hard to train herself to be a hero that can protect and save people. Endeavor had been working all of them to their breaking point and tonight was no exception. They had just gotten back from helping Endeavor defeat a low level thief.

Mizuko was bent over heavily breathing while in the busy epicenter of the agency. Shoto, Izuku, and Bakugo were just as exhausted as her if not even more fatigued. Mizuko was thankful for her speed training with Hawks but she only did it for short distances and didn't do endurance training with it.

"I need a hot shower." Mizuko whined.

"Yeah I can smell you from over here." Bakugo snipped.

Mizuko shot him a dirty look. She just huffed and went to her and Shoto's room with Shoto following behind her.

"We've gotten better since our first day." Shoto said hopeful while walking back.

Mizuko nodded her head. Shoto kept trying to be hopeful about their situation as Endeavor kept pushing them to be the heroes they needed to be. Endeavor kept pushing them because he quickly realized the commission bitch is using the work studies program to deploy the students for whatever Hawks was warning them about. He had to make sure his students would be safe and make it out alive.

"You're right. I can see how much faster you've gotten and the better control of your quirks." Mizuko replied as she opened the door to their shared room.

They both walked in and Mizuko went to her side of the room. She needed a hot shower to relax her tired muscles. She grabbed her towel and pajamas.  She picked them up and held on to them close against her chest.

Shoto turned over to her before she went into the bathroom adjoined to their room.

"I'm really glad I get to train with you, Mizuko. I'm even surprised my father wanted us train together more. I guess he sees our quirks as just as compatible as us." Shoto said.

Mizuko smiled at that comment. If he only knew that Endeavor pushed them to train together as Endeavor knew that Shoto's love was protecting her from turning fully into a Nomu. If they were constantly paired up, then he would always be there to protect her if a situation got ugly.

"One day, we will get to use our new combo attack together into action. A villain won't know what hit him with that Todoroki combo!" She said all excited putting her fist in the air.

Shoto's mouth was open slightly as he was shocked she had named that move a Todoroki combo. Mizuko quickly realized what she had said and her cheeks were red and rosy. She couldn't believe she just said that.

"I uh meant that they won't know what hit them with our Ice Wave... I uh gotta go shower!" She said with a high pitch squeaky voice. She ran into the bathroom in such a hurry that she didn't even realize she dropped her dark blue pajama top by her side of the bed. Shoto didn't realize it either.

As Shoto heard the door slam, he smirked at her comment now and how flustered she was.

One day it will be called our Todoroki combo. But maybe not quite that embarrassing of a name...

Mizuko was lightly slapping herself across the face for that embarrassing comment she made.

How stupid can you be, Mizuko!

She sighed at her comment and finally decided to get ready for her shower. She dressed down and saw herself in the mirror. She could see the bruises on her body from all her training. She had tiny little scratch marks on her arms. When she was looking at her arms, her eyes fell onto the scar on her arm from Endeavor in Kyushu, the scar Shoto hated seeing. Her eyes then wandered up to her scarred shoulders from her fight with Stain. It was the first time that Mizuko had taken a close look at her body since she started UA. Her once pure body was now filled with scars and bruises. It was the life of a hero now, right?
