That's the Dumbass I Know

Mizuko was back at UA now after Aizawa had carried her back in his arms to the car and Mic drove them home from the prison. Mizuko was still passed out once they arrived and Aizawa made sure to carry her back to her room while the other members of Class A were being taught by All Might. They didn't need to see her like this.

He laid her down on her bed and tucked her in. His face frowned seeing how peaceful she looked sleeping. He knew when she would wake up that all that peace would be taken from her and she would be left remembering the nightmare that had just occurred. It wasn't fair that this was her life.

"Mr. Aizawa! You are back!" Izuku slammed the door open with Shoto and Bakugo with him.

Shoto ran past Aizawa and went right up to Mizuko. He then saw that she was asleep. He put his hand on her cheek just to feel her touch and let her know that he was there even if she wasn't awake.

"Is she okay? Why was she out of class all day?" Shoto asked concerned for her well-being as he looked closer and saw dried tears on her cheeks.

Aizawa looked down at the ground with hesitation. He was hoping to get a moment to process the day himself before letting the others in on it. It wasn't just Mizuko that experienced trauma in that prison. Aizawa took a deep breath in before he tried to speak but was rudely interrupted.

"Come on! What's going?" Bakugo yelled with his arms crossed.

"Kacchan!" Izuku chastised him.

Aizawa rolled his eyes. Some things would never change.

"Tsukauchi did some investigation on Kurogiri in Tartarus. Turns out Kurogiri is the closest thing to a human Nomu now as the person they cruelly used is in a limbo between life and death. They used her uncle and our best friend, Shirakumo Oboro. Apparently it's the Shirakumo cloud quirk that makes it easier to turn a person into a human Nomu. That's why All For One has been after her the moment she first took breath in this world..." Aizawa choked out

The trio then gasped and were filled with horror. They looked at Mizuko and could only imagine her heartbreak and sadness. Shoto shook his head as he could feel the weight she was carrying, the heavy burden of being a Shirakumo. Meanwhile, Izuku looked despondent and Bakugo banged his fist against the wall of bedroom.

Mizuko stirred in the bed as she heard the bang in her room. She was already half awake and heard Aizawa's explanation but couldn't ignore Bakugo's loud bang. She then pulled the covers over her head.

"It's why we need to get rid of my cloud quirk forever." She groaned under the sheet.

Shoto then pulled down the cover to see her face. He could now see the full pain in her eyes. He did the only thing he could do in that moment. He embraced her with his arms wrapping tightly around her body. He wanted her to give him some of that burden to carry.

"Shoto.." She muttered.

Aizawa then coughed as Shoto let go.

"Eri is actually ready to rewind it. Togata called me. Her horn grew and she even managed to rewind someone else's quirk. Now I believe that Eri is ready to rewind your quirk to when before All For One altered it. You could still have use your cloud quirk." Aizawa explained calmly. This was his plan all along.

Mizuko abruptly got up from her bed and stormed over to her sliding glass door to her balcony. She had her back faced towards everyone as she gazed at the stars. She had her hand on the glass as if she was just praying to break free of the burdens she was carrying.

"No. I want my quirk taken away. I want them both taken away. I can't handle this anymore. I can't handle being his puppet. I can't handle it!" She cried out in anger and slammed her fist on the the glass door.
