Dabi, I'm So Sorry

"Endeavor!! Endeavor! Where are you, you cranky man" Mizuko was yelling as she headed outside the gate.

She looked left and right and didn't see him anywhere. She just saw the busy streets on front of her that were bustling with people. None of them stood out and definitely didn't look like the flame hero, Endeavor.

She then heard some rustling in the bushes next to her. She quickly activated her water in her palm to form a sphere of ocean water. She whipped her head to the side but quickly saw nothing there. It was just the wind whistling through the trees.

Must've been the wind. Don't know why I'm so jumpy

Mizuko let out a sigh of relief. As her back was now turned to that bush, she let down her guard and released the water from her hands as it poured down onto the concrete sidewalk. She then thought it was weird Endeavor lied to her that he was just outside. She then pulled out her phone and went to unlock her phone but she then felt a pair of hands grab her wrists. Her wrists were now being bound behind her back as her attacker pulled her behind the bush. She went to scream but now another hand muffled her scream.

"Miss me, sweetheart?" A hushed voice whispered into her ear. It made her hair stand up. She could never forget that voice or that nickname.

Mizuko tried to fight off her attackers but they were strong. The person behind her was crushing her wrists anytime she even tried to move or activate her quirk. She tried thrashing her head and kept trying to get a scream out but it was useless.

"I'll let my hand go but only if you promise not to scream. Do anything to catch anyone's attention and I'll turn them into ashes. You don't want that on your conscience now, do ya sweetheart?" The voice from earlier said in her ear again. Only this time, he was so close to her ear that his lips were brushing up against her ear.

Mizuko hung her head low as she knew she was bested. She couldn't allow any citizen to get hurt because she didn't comply. Besides, she knew she was outnumbered. With much hesitation, she shook her head up and down to let her attacker know that she was reluctantly complying.

Her attacker let go of his hand covering her mouth and she took a deep breathe in to finally get air in her lungs. Each breathe felt refreshing as she was quickly inhaling and exhaling.

Her eyes then wandered up as her one of her attackers now stood in front of her. She guessed right on who she thought it was as she was staring down his turquoise eyes. Dabi just snickered to himself as he loved seeing Mizuko helpless. He always pissed her off and he knew how precious she was to the Todoroki family. He now smiled at his accomplishment and even used his dear old dad to help catch his prey.

"Dabi. Why? How?" She asked while glaring at him while still being restrained. If looks could kill, Dabi would've been dead from one glance at her.

He then ignored her and walked up to her and tilted her chin up so she was forced to look at him closely in the eyes.

"You know, we've always wanted you. We've now just have some helpful recruits who are real tech geniuses, like Skeptic, who can copy voices and clone phone numbers. But most of all, you should thank the person holding you now. He said that dear old number one would be the perfect voice for Skeptic to clone to lure you out here." He now answered her.

Mizuko felt her heart drop as she just turned her head around while her body was forced to stay facing Dabi. She saw his blonde hair and his yellow visor near her face. His face had a smirk on it. It didn't make sense. It didn't make sense that Hawks was working with Dabi. Did he seriously help capture her?

"Sorry Aqua. The timing was right for me to show my true loyalty. I tried to get you to understand the great liberation movement but I guess you never actually read it. Also let's just say I'm still hurt you chose Endeavor over me for the work study." Hawks was smug.
