Mizuko laid still on the table while the Hassaikai doctor was still at it draining her blood. It had been over an hour since he stabbed two large IVs into her veins and started his job. Mizuko had tried flailing and moving around but it was useless with those restraints tying her down. She could feel her body weaken more and more as they were stealing her blood."Is this what you people did to Eri? How dare you do this to a little girl." She spat out.
The doctor just ignored her. He was just following his orders from Overhaul and didn't care about Eri or this annoying hero. He just did as he was told.
"Good job as always, doc." Mizuko heard a familiar voice.
Mizuko turned her head towards the door and saw the man that took her here in the first place, Kurono, who had Overhaul by his side. Kurono was holding a small little box in his hand. He handed that box over to Overhaul who opened it to reveal 5 little small red bullets.
"It's finally done, doc. We figured out a permanent version of the drug. We figured out how to preserve Eri's power. With this, we can completely annihilate a quirk. It's a cure. We can fix this world." Overhaul took one of the bullets and was examining it. He was proud that his dream was coming true.
Mizuko tried pushing through her restraints once again in vain.
"I won't let you get away this. I won't allow it!" She shouted at them.
Kurono walked over towards her and tilted her chin up so she was facing his plague mask.
"But we already are. Besides how are you going to stop us when you can't even get up? The process is expensive which is why you're here. Shigaraki is willing to fund our whole operation if we hand you over to him with your quirks in tact. But we aren't breaking our deal, if we analyze your blood and figure out how they plan on using you to become a human Nomu. Imagine the business in creating those monsters.." Kurono made sure to emphasize the word monster to really get under her skin.
Mizuko could feel her the heat from her anger rising. If only she was stronger and had her quirks back, then she could break free and stop this madness. She couldn't imagine the horrors that Eri had to face every day in here.
"Go to hell. All of you." She gritted through her teeth.
"We're already there. Now we don't have time to waste." Overhaul laughed.
The building then began shake. Kurono let go of her because he was trying to catch his balance. Mizuko began to form a smirk on her face because she knew exactly what that meant. Her plan was working and the heroes were here. Hawks was able to sense his feather's location and they were going to bring down the Hassaikai and save Eri.
"How the hell did the heroes find us?! Nemoto and Sakaki! Go get Eri! We're leaving! Doc! Finish up storing the blood and meet us outside." Overhaul ordered.
Kurono then untied Mizuko's restraints and pulled her by her injured wrist close to him. He held onto her wrist tightly as he forced her to walk closely next to him. Mizuko could only focus on not screaming out in pain.
"If you know what's good for you, don't try anything stupid. I can break that other wrist if you'd like. We only have to bring you to Shigaraki alive, he said nothing about being broken." He whispered in her ear.
She glared at Kurono. Mizuko realized she was in no position to fight or be disrespectful. She just had to shut up for now until Hawks and the rest of the pros could find Eri. Mizuko couldn't screw up Eri's chance of escaping this hell. She couldn't live with herself if she messed this up for Eri.
They were walking down the underground tunnels for what seemed like forever until Nemoto and Sakaki showed up with Eri. Eri's widened and her heart felt happy seeing Mizuko. She was relieved to to see her but sad that she was still trapped with her and the Hassaikai.
