Drowning. (Shoto Todoroki x OC)

Confession

It was Mizuko's turn to have all eyes are on her. She was facing the class weirdo, Aoyama. She got her self in a fighting stance but she knew this was going to be an easy match for her. She wasn't cocky but she had a fool proof strategy after learning more about Aoyama's quirk from Mina after the USJ incident.

"Now for this match up, we have from class 1A , Aoyama Yuga! Let's hope that gaudy belt serves its purpose! He's facing the leader of the pack of the girls, the ocean quirk girl, Shirakumo Mizuko!"

Mizuko at least knew for this round, she didn't have to use her quirk. She could preserve her water for tougher matches.

"And begin!"

"Apologies, mademoislle!"

Aoyama used his naval laser at her. Mizuko dodged by jumping to the side of his laser. He kept constantly firing at her as she kept running around and jumping to miss his lasers. Mizuko was determined and even looked graceful jumping and evading his beams.

There we go.

"Mina told me something about your quirk. It's that your stomach can't handle rapid fire!" Aoyama was holding his stomach quivering.

She ran up to his right side and punched him so hard across the jaw that he was flown out of bounds.

"The winner is Shirakumo!" Midnight declared

"She didn't even use her quirk!" Present Mic announced.

Up in the viewing area, Midoriya was scribbling in his notebook. Ojiro was being nosy and asked him about it.

"I was writing what Shirakumo said about Aoyama's quirk. I wanted to write more about Shirakumo but she didn't even have to use her quirk. She's one of class' best strategists. Just like in Hero Training with All Might, she figured out how to trap you and capture the weapon without even a fight. Her quirk dehydrates her if she has to create ocean water. She's aiming to be in the finals so she knows she has to preserve her quirk in order to last until then. She's truly so smart!" Izuku monologued while everyone in the class was a little creeped out by him.

Bakugo was just fuming listening to him mutter about people's quirks just like when they were kids. But he was also mad at how much he praised Mizuko. She was supposed to be weak. However, he realized how much of strategist in battle she was and it didn't help her quirk was so versatile and powerful. It was a reason he wanted her to join the Calvary team. However, he was going to the best and to prove it and that meant that he would need to destroy her.

Meanwhile Mizuko was going back to her seat with the rest of her class while Kirishima and Tetsutetsu's battle was going on. She almost made it back until she crossed paths with Shoto. She gulped with her nerves. She tried passing him but he blocked her path.

"Why did you lecture my father?"

Great. I knew that was a bad idea!

"I know you don't consider me your friend anymore... but I feel that it was his influence for your sudden change.  The Sho- I mean Todoroki I got to know was my best friend. You're your own person and not just a tool for your dad. I told him that your left side isn't his, it's yours. He needed to know that he can't control you life."

Todoroki just stared at her.

Mizuko bit her lip. "I shouldn't have stuck my nose into that... sorry!" She slid past him and ran off with her face red.

She quickly made it back in time for Uraraka's match against Bakugo. People were saying it was an unfair match but the truth is, what villain is going to take it easy on her because she's a girl?
