Mizuko's eyes were finally opening after two days of being knocked out. She was confused as she woke up in a dark room. She tried standing up but soon realized that her hands and ankles were bound and fell forward on her face. The cold metal chains were tight against her skin. The more she moved, the tighter her bindings felt.Mizuko then remembered everything before she passed out. She was at training camp and used already near maximum capacity of her quirk before the test of courage that the League invaded. She used the last of her quirk to defeat a Dabi clone and then got taken shortly after reuniting with Shoto and her class.
She then remembered thetracking necklace that Aizawa got her right before the camping trip. She thought if she could just find away to press it then everything would be okay. She quickly looked down and panic took over. Her memory of the cracking sound of the stone was then echoing in her mind.
That was my only way to let someone know where I was...
"Oi, loser! Thanks for finally waking up." She heard a familiar voice.
She turned to her left and saw her hotheaded classmate Bakugo chained to a chair. His hands were in a metal box so he couldn't use his quirk. She gasped seeing him in this situation. He was always seen as the fiercest and scariest member of 1A so it was horrifying to see him bound like this.
"Bakugo... I'm so sorry I got you involved in this." Her voice was somber.
"Don't be so self centered. I'm alive so they obviously want me for something. Not always about you!" He growled.
Mizuko was honestly taken back. She assumed that Bakugo would curse out for getting him into this mess. Instead, he just took it as it was.
"Where are we?" She asked.
Bakugo rolled his eyes. "Tch. I would love to know that too. You're supposed to be the smartest in battle."
Mizuko was not having his sarcasm right now. She turned her head over, "What's your issue with me?! Ever since we've started at UA, you've had it out for me. At the damn sports festival, you wanted me on your Calvary team and then you wanted to 'destroy me' during the matches. What is your deal with me?!"
Bakugo stood at her wide eyed. She was one of the first people to stand up to him. He looked at her. Her light blue eyes were piercing his. Her normal happy and friendly demeanor was gone. Bakugo was kicking himself for making her mad at him in a situation like this where they needed to depend on each other.
The iron door slammed open. The sound of the wall and door colliding rang in Mizuko and Bakugo's ears. Mizuko then recognized the person who entered the room. She could never forget the turquoise eyes of Dabi.
"Well I'm glad you both are finally awake. Took you long enough." He sneered.
Mizuko scowled at him. She felt powerless with her and Bakugo tied up. Her quirk was strong but it wouldn't help her break free. Even if she did attack Dabi, Mizuko was sure the rest of the League was nearby and would just hurt them more.
Dabi then squatted down on the floor so he was eye level with Mizuko. He was loving the fact her eyes went from pure joy and innocence when they first met to eyes filled with anger and vengeance. To him, it was like looking in a mirror.
"Dabi...let us go." She growled in a low tone.
Dabi then cupped her cheek with his right hand. Bakugo wanted to bash his face in for touching her.
"Don't you fucking touch her, I'll kill you!" Bakugo screamed.
"When I first met you, your eyes were filled with hope and joy. Now when I look at them, I see hate and vengeance. Are you sure you're not a villain?" He teased her.
