Drowning. (Shoto Todoroki x OC)

Shigaraki now stood tall after being crushed and blasted by Mizuko who was close to be turned into the human Nomu. He flung his hair back and rubbed his cheek.

"That fucking hurt, Shirakumo Mizuko. I'll make you pay. I may not be able to kill you but when I'm through with you, you'll be asking to die." He snarled while looking at her in disgust. In Shigaraki's eyes, she looked pathetic being held up by Shoto.

Shoto was glaring at Shigaraki. He wouldn't let him hurt her. He went to create flames with his left side as he positioned himself in front of Mizuko. Endeavor's loud voice then boomed and filled the air.

"Shoto! You and Aqua deal with triage. Aqua, for the last goddamn time, do not engage with Shigaraki?! Do you understand? I was afraid of losing you.." Endeavor's voice was strong in the beginning but she could hear his voice falter near the end.

Endeavor couldn't lose the only thing loosely holding his broken family together. Shoto couldn't believe what his dad was saying.

"Right, come on, Shoto." Mizuko nodded. On the inside, she was full of glee knowing how Endeavor cared about her but she had to make sure Aizawa and Gran Torino would be okay.

Shoto picked up Gran Torino and Mizuko saw the nasty shape of his leg and the gashing wound in his chest.

"What do you think, Aqua? You've always been better than triaging than me." Shoto asked her.

Mizuko used her water that she created in her hand to cleanse the blood off him.

"I think he will be okay but he needs to get to a hospital as soon as possible. We need someone to get him off the battle field. He missed a major blood vessel but he's losing blood. Thankfully slowly. Shinso, give me some of Eraser's capture scarf. I can immobilize his leg with it." Mizuko analyzed the situation as she sadly looked over at her dad as well. He was in the same boat. She already did a tourniquet and stopped his bleeding for now. She felt relief every time she saw his chest rise.

Shinso followed her orders and started grabbing some of Aizawa's cloth. He wouldn't be needing it anymore today.

Shoto saw her despondent face and put his hand on her shoulder. It snapped her back to reality. She looked over at him and saw him give her a half grin.

"You know you will make a great rescue hero one day. You'd make a great doctor if you weren't a hero." Shoto kindly said to her.

Shinso handed her the cloth and she quickly was using it to immobilize Gran Torino's leg.

"Not a bad idea one day, actually. But my goal is to be a hero who helps people, to be the hero I always needed." Mizuko said as she kept focusing on helping Gran Torino.

"You've helped me if it's any consolation, Aqua. I literally wouldn't be standing at this battlefield if you didn't help me prove that I can be a hero. Thank you." Shinso said earnestly.

Mizuko smiled as she continued to wrap up the leg. She remembers Shinso wanting to fight her since the haunted house at the festival. Now she is getting work side by side with him as a hero.

"You guys really know how to sweeten a girl up. I am really glad I ha- oh my god. What is going on with Shigaraki?!" She screamed as she dropped the cloth now.

Shigaraki's body wasn't regenerating and now his upper torso was barely together. She could see his muscle tissue holding on for dear life. He was now grinning as his body couldn't handle the power given to him.

"I will destroy everything!" He yelled while about ready to smack his hand down while Erasure was not in play.

Mizuko closed her eyes and waited for the destruction. But instead she felt Shoto's arm wrap around her tightly from behind. He grabbed her with such force and held her so close to his chest as if he thought that this was going to be their last moment together. If the world was ending now, that's how he wanted to go out, holding onto the person he cherished more than anything.
