Mizuko yawned in her new room. She was sitting at her desk studying her hero law textbook for the millionth time. So much information was making her brain hurt. She was always a good student the but the anxiety of failing clouded her mind. She banged her head on the desk and threw her notes. She also had the pressure of being number two in the midterms- falling short only to Yaoyorozu and just slightly edging Iida. People had expectations in her grades now."This is so much!" She groaned.
Sora heard her groan and hopped up on her desk. She nudged Mizuko's arm with her head while she purred. She couldn't speak but Mizuko could swear she could understand human emotions.
Mizuko lifted her head and smiled at her loyal cat. She rested her chin on her hand while petting her.
"You know you can take breaks you know. Studying is useless if your brain is fried." Aizawa stood outside her room with his arms crossed.
Mizuko looked back and sighed. He had a point. "You're right."
Aizawa was doing the best he could being her guardian for now. In his mind, he already let Oboro down so he couldn't let Mizuko down, not another Shirakumo. He didn't have an elaborate house but he always made sure she knew much she was cared for. He was even willing to put up with the cat that became obsessed with him.
"I just found out your parents' trial is coming up. You don't have to go if you don't want to. Although, I'm worried the League might be setting a trap for you there." Aizawa warned. His stomach was uneasy knowing how much the League wanted her. The leak at USJ definitely came from Moya so she should be safe now since there's no insider to report to All for One anymore.
Mizuko turned away and looked out her window. She didn't want to face her dad again. She was also growing tired of being hunted by the League. Why does All for One want his quirk back so badly?
"I don't know if I want to go. Mr. Aizawa, why does All for One want my ocean quirk back so badly..." Her voice became low.
Aizawa entered her room now and placed a hand on her shoulder. "I'm not sure. Moya was deceived by All for One so he must not know everything. The only thing I know is you should be safe from the League now that they don't have anymore insiders working for them. Also didn't I tell you that at home, it's Shota? I'm not your teacher here." He did a half smile while hiding his fear of the League taking her away.
"Right, Shota. Thank you for everything by the way." She truly appreciated how much his bare apartment feel more like a home than she ever had before.
"Now dinner isn't going to eat itself..." He turned away and started heading for dinner motioning her to come.

"Now your final exams are coming up! Those of you who fail will not come on the summer training camp trip! I hope you've all been studying for the written but don't forget to train for the practical." Aizawa lectured his class. He looked at Mizuko thought and would hope she would calm down. She always pushed herself.
Kaminari groaned and flew himself back in his seat. "It's not fair! With all the villain stuff going on, I haven't had time to hit the books! Not everyone is smart as Yaoyorozu and Shirakumo!"
"Yeah seriously!" Mina joined in.
Mizuko blushed hearing her friends' praises. Bakugo, of all people, was annoyed hearing Mina and Kaminari whine. He slammed his his fists on his desk as everyone stared.
"You idiots! It's not hard. Fucking Shirakumo placed second in midterms while being hospitalized twice by the villains! You weren't even involved that much as her in the USJ!" He screamed.
