#KiaSal Drabble 22: Three Days Of Separation Part 7 'Another Side' (Day 3)

That day, Sal had found Seele humming across the kitchen counter when he stepped in. His plaster was removed as his fractured bones had finally healed. He still had some pain here and there but mostly it was good. Plus he didn't think too much as he was sure he could easily heal himself once his body recovers the lost honkai energy. 

However, the reason for his super early awakening was not for checking his healed leg. 

Seele: Oh, Sal? I didn't expect you to be up so early. 

Sal: I can say the same for you, Seele. (He gave her a smile) 

Seele: Hehe, well, you caught me then. (She takes out a batch of freshly baked cookies from the oven. They were made in shape of Kiana, Bronya, Fu Hua, Sal and herself) Since Kiana and Fu Hua would be returning today I thought of making something special. 

Sal: Wow, you are really particular, Seele. Can I try some? 

Seele: Even if I said no, you would manipulate me using your puppy dog eyes. 

Sal turned his head, trying to whistle away the allegations. 

Seele: I wonder how Kiana ever says no to you. 

Sal: The dumbo is just too immune (He sighed) But don't worry I am sure I will find a way to melt her heart again. 

Seele: I don't think you need to anymore. 

Sal: (Gives a bittersweet smile) I wonder if that's true... Hey, Seele, would you mind if I asked you something? 

Seele: Sure. As long as it is something I can answer, I will help you. 

Sal gave her a smile. "That day when you said to me, I am not the only one hurting. What did you mean?"

Seele: Oh, that... (Her voice trailed off) I guess can't keep it away from you any longer. 

Sal: Hm? 

Seele: Do you remember Sussanah? 

Sal: Of course I do. I mean, what kind of question is even that? We have known each other for years. 

Seele: Well then, were you ever aware of her feelings towards you? 

Sal's eyes widened at her question, but one look at Seele, he knew, she was aware of what had happened. "She told you?"

Seele: It's not about her. I am asking you. 

Sal: Yeah, I was. 

Seele: Since when? 

Sal: I always had a hunch... When we met in the Schiksal academy she would always be buzzing around me and after my expulsion from my last squad, she was there to help cheer me up too. I think it was then I realized.
