"Aren't you really close with that Apocalypse boy?" Alvitr asked as she placed her bag over Susannah's table.

"You think so?" Susannah peeked from over her manga. "I feel we are just like how two friends would be."

"Um..." Alvitr gazed at the two bento box that was placed on her table. "I don't friends who aren't close cook meals for one another."

"Oh, he is very bad at cooking, Alvitr." Susannah had a fond smile as she remembered the day she had moved into the Shicksal Academy two years ago. "He once burnt the entire kitchen just trying to cook a soup."

"Oh."

"Exactly," She smiled at her. "Thus it's upon me, the great Susannah, to cook meals for him."

Alvitr taken aback by her radiance, gave her a headpat. "As long as it makes you happy Susannah."

"Hehe"

"Scramble Brains." Sal walked into the classroom clad in his black elitist uniform. "Did you complete the new volume?"

"No idiot." She giggled. "I am still on it."

"Well, since you are such a slow reader," He grinned. "You won't mind me spoiling you on what happens next."

"Noo!" She had teary eyes as she threw herself on him. "Don't do that."

"Ahaha, the sound of anguish."

"You bully."

"Says the girl who called me a kidnapper in our first meeting."

"Don't blame me."

As everyone watched the two of them argue, there were whispers and snickers. Everyone had the same thought: Do they not like each other?

Later that day in the evening:

Susannah was walking back from her Valkyrie training and going for her gymnastic practice, when she saw Sal walk with another woman. She had teal ombre silver hairs and looked older. Sal had a smile, the kind she had never seen before as he talked with her.

"I didn't know he could make expressions like that." She shrugged and entered the gymnasium.

"Susannah, are you okay?" Alvitr, who was in her gymnastic outfit, asked with concern.

"Why, what happened?"

"You look very angry."

Unbeknownst to the blonde-haired girl, she had a light scowl on her face ever since she saw Sal with the older girl.
