"Sal let's play a game." Susannah abruptly announced to a napping Sal. The collaboration mission with Schiksal was a last moment decision, rather, he would like to say it was the only option both parties had left after their misadventures with the Hersscher Of Ice's remnants.

"Why now Susannah?" He complained with his eyes still shut. "We just got free from the lookout, let me rest some more please."

"But..." Her voice wavered. As she swept her blonde hair behind her shoulder, before leaned towards him. "But... If we don't play now, then we won't get a chance."

"Sure, we will." He mumbled. "Once the mission is over, I can take some time off and have Kiana and others-"

"I don't want others!" She frantically cut him off, her tone was desperate. "I... I mean... You know" She stuttered trying her best to form a reply. "I mean I want to play the game with just you."

Sal opened his eyes; hers were right above his. Within her amber eyes, he could see the desperation and fear. He didn't want to hurt her, that much Sal was sure of. After all, she was his oldest friend.

"Sure." He smiled. "For old time's sake."

Susannah nodded in happiness. Her arms curled into a ball as she punched the air.

"Seems like that childish side of you is still the same."

"Is that a problem?" She asked him accusingly.

"I never said it was." He got up and pushed his back towards the makeshift sandbag wall. "Rather, I am happy to see you are the same as ever."

Her shoulders relaxed as her eyes softened. Her fingers clasped over each other. Her lips curled into a gentle smile.

I like him too much. She thought in a daze. The moonlight from the broken ceiling seeped in illuminating his sea green eyes, they still held the same kindness and warmth within them.

"So, the game you wanted to play?" Sal asked.

"Oh..." Susannah was brought out of her world as she quickly scrambled, her arms flailing around. "Yeah... The game..." She brought out a notepad from within her bag and pushed it towards Sal. "We will use this to play."

Sal gave her a confused gaze. "Tic-Tac-Toe?"

Susannah: Nah. (Shook her head.)

"Hangman?"

Susannah giggled, her left hand covering her lips as she shook her head again. There was a faint blush over her cheeks.
