In a universe far, far away, where there was no Honkai or wars, everyone lived happily and in peace. And in such calm times lived a blonde-haired boy who went by the name Jin Riwei. He was a third-year student at the Schicksal High School, and the legends were, despite being here for three years, no one but a certain pink-haired girl had heard him talk.

Kiana: Dork, did you ask the silent blonde about his stance at the sports festival?

Sal: (Sighs) No, Kia-senpai, the moment I called him, Jin Senpai ran away. Am I that scary?

Kiana: Pffttt yeah sure.

Sal: ...

Kiana: Since none of us can reach him, I will ask Ellie-senpai. She is the only one among us who talks with him.

Sal: True.

Kiana: Also, Mom is cooking borscht for dinner tonight.

Sal: You don't have to say Kia-senpai; at this point, your parents literally adopted me.

Kiana: (Giggles) Though I would prefer if they didn't monopolize you that much, I would prefer to have my boyfriend to myself. Also, drop the honorifics; you sound so distant (Pouts)

Sal: Sure Kiana.

Kiana(Her face red with embarrassment)

Sal: Kiana?

Kiana: Yep, I am totally good, but just in case others get the wrong idea in school, call me Senpai.

Sal: (Smirks) Nah, I will call you Kia-

Kiana put her hand over his mouth, stopping him, and whispered: This is not good for my heart, Dork.

On the Rooftop:

Elysia: Kia-chan called me. (She announced with her usual bright smile as she ate lunch with Jin.) You have been avoiding them again?

Jin: (His face is hidden in his lap.) I am sorry... But you know it's scary talking with others...

Elysia: Is that so? Then what about me?

Jin: Ellie is Ellie, not some stranger; thus, I don't mind.

Elysia: Why are you so adorable? (She sulks as she grabs his cheeks, albeit a bit hard)

Jin: Hurting...

Elysia: My bad, my bad.

Jin: Please don't do that again. (He pouted and took a bite of the cutlet his mother had cooked) Also, can you just tell them I will, umm... Join the umm... The marathon?

Elysia: Why not say that yourself? It would be good for your social anxiety.

Jin: I don't want to... And Ellie is better at speaking anyway.

Elysia: But I do want you to be able to do it in your own one day.

Jin: I promise I will try, but just this time, please.

Elysia: You said that the last time.

Jin: This is the last time, as my first friend...

Elysia, who was in a great mood, suddenly stopped smiling; as her pink eyes darkened, her grip on her chopsticks hardened until it snapped.

Jin: Ellie?

Elysia: Friend? Is that what I am to you?

Jin in his mind:(His social anxiety kicked in as he cowered inside) I was too forward; I forgot that Ellie might just be kind to me because she is kind to everyone, but this doesn't mean she is my friend, right?

Jin: Ellie, hear me out! I am sorry, I didn't consider your feelings and assumed we were friends-

Elysia: Let me make one thing very clear, Jin Rinwei, with you, I don't do friendship; you wanted to be my friend? Too bad? I only see you as my boyfriend. We are dating.

Jin: Huh?
