Susannah: Hey, Sal, wanna go out and play in the snow?

Sal: Where did that come from?

Susannah: Uh, we are literally sitting on the coldest continent on Earth, idiot.

Sal: That's not what I meant. (He shook his head) I was just wondering why so random?

Susannah: Eh, I mean it's not like you get to visit Antarctica every day. Plus, thanks to AE troops, we don't even have to worry about any Honkai beasts attacking.

Sal: True, hm...

Kiana, who was quietly sitting on the couch, sighed, her white-hair was trimmed neatly into twin-tails as she sipped on the black-coffee Sal had brewed. "Why not go dork?"

Susannah gave her a quick stare, her amber eyes filled with confusion by the sudden gesture.

"What's up with you, Dumbo?" Sal called for her from the dining table. "Aren't you the one who's always the first to join these kinds of events?"

"Not this time." She smiled as she pulled out her blue reading glasses. "Theresa is making me study for all the classes I missed," Said Kiana as she grabbed a blue-black colored manual on: 'Mechanics Of Advanced Honkai Weaponry'

"Weird..." He gave her a questioning look. "She never asked me?"

"You are smart, Sal." She waved her hand. "Plus, didn't you already study this stuff in Shicksal Academy?"

"Yes, but-" Sal was cut off when Kiana slammed the book on the glass table. From here, he couldn't see her expression, but he had a feeling it was far from pleasant.

"So annoying," Kiana mumbled, her tone laced with annoyance, as she flipped open the cover.

"At least let me help you." He offered. "Plus, Susannah here had topped that class in the academy-"

"Can you just leave?" Her voice was authoritative as well as sharp. She wasn't very keen on entertaining this conversation any further.

"Dumbo what has gotten into you?"

Susannah, who was quietly watching the exchange, placed her hand over Sal's, giving him a reassuring glance. She then walked towards the white haired girl and gave her a pat on the shoulder.

"Why won't you leave me-" Kiana turned in anger, only to stop when she saw Susannah's face. "Oh... Um..."

"You don't really have to apologise."

She gave her a nod.

Susannah gave her a nod before hesitantly taking a step forward. "Is it because of that night?"
