SCENE 1
EXT. SPORTS FESTIVAL GROUNDS - DAY
The stadium is buzzing with activity. SAL and PHAINON stand near the team benches. KEVIN is off to the side, distractedly feeding birds.
Phainon: Sal Apocalypse, let's be heroes together.
Sal: For the hundredth time, Snowie, no! Also, how the hell did you end up in the red team?!
Phainon: Audrey begged Welt, it seems. Something to do with White team always being overpowered.
Sal: So she thought that getting you and your other cousin would solve the problem.
Sal points at Kevin.
Phainon: We might not see that much, but with his strength and ours combined, we can be here's—
Sal: Yes! Yes! I get it. What about Caelus?
Phainon: Oh him... Let's say his other twin was too chaotic for Audrey, so she transferred them to Cyrene.
Sal: Hotaru allowed that?!
Phainon: She was very cooperative.
Kevin: (To a bird) Hey, Birdie, can you explain to me why you fly?
Sal: ...
Phainon: ...
SCENE 2
EXT. FIELD - MOMENTS LATER
The teams are lining up. Sal looks across the field with dread.
Sal: WE ARE UP AGAINST DAN HENG, CAELUS, MYDEIMOS, SU AND KALPAS!
Phainon: There, there, with our combined strength, we will prevail.
Anaxa: I am sorry to break your bubble, my pupil, but the odds are not in our favour. We will be losing the cavalry battle.
Kevin: It's okay, I couldn't hear the echoes of a thousand beasts anyway.
Sal: Audrey will be mad... We don't want her mad...
Phainon: ...
Anaxa: But I do have a plan.
Anaxa leans in toward Kevin.
Anaxa: Kevin Kaslana, the stellar Dr Mei has arrived, and she is watching you.
Kevin: Mei has?!
Kevin's listless eyes suddenly turn bright. He gains immense speed. Sal, sitting on the combined shoulders of the three, feels the sudden rush.
Phainon: Yes, she is, cous, but you need to beat Mydei's team to meet her.
Kevin: The deliverance will be complete. Kalpas, Su, Mydeu and Dan Heng, you shall fall!
Miraculously, the Red Team defeats the White Team's ace. Kiana, despite being on the White Team, is seen cheering for Red.
From the sidelines, Cyrene glares at Kiana, while Elysia giggles.
SCENE 3
EXT. TRACK - BORROWED ITEM RACE
The participants stand at the starting line, reading their paper slips.
Sal: Ugh, I hate this chit! I can hear the pink fairy giggle already.
Phainon: It can't be worse than mine.
Caelus: Amateurs, all I have to do is get Hotaru.
Sal: If you try anything else, she will obliterate you, Cae.
Phainon: He is the right partner.
Caelus: ...
Dan Heng: Oh, mine is simple.
March 7th: It says I need to find someone I love?
Caelus: Easy, just get the Boba tea.
March 7th: ...
SCENE 4
EXT. BLEACHERS / TRACK - CONTINUOUS
Sal sprints to the sidelines.
Sal: Kia-senpai, don't ask questions, just come with me. I need you.
Kiana: Wait ahhh!
Sal holds her hand tight and makes a dash towards the finish line.
SCENE 5
EXT. TRACK - CONTINUOUS
Phainon approaches Cyrene.
Phainon: Cyrene, I know this might sound odd, but please let me carry you bridal style to the finish line.
Cyrene: Huh?
Phainon: It will be a romantic story like none other.
Cyrene: No, wait, Phainon!
Phainon pulls her up into his arms and dashes off. Cyrene, blushing madly, hides her face in his chest.
Cyrene: You will be paying for this a hundredfold after we are done, you meanie, Phainon.
Phainon: As long as I can win this, you are allowed to do anything, Cyrene.
Cyrene: ... You are not good for my heart.
Phainon: Feeling is mutual.
SCENE 6
EXT. TRACK - CONTINUOUS
Dan Heng approaches Hyacinthia.
Dan Heng: Hyacinthia, can I hold your hand and run to the finish line with you?
Hyacinthia: Is that your idea of asking me out, Dannie?
Dan Heng: I tried, but I keep getting lost in your eyes whenever we are together.
Hyacinthia: Oh, Shush, you are just awkward to blurt it out.
Dan Heng: Was it that obvious?
Hyacinthia: Dannie, you are an open book.
Dan Heng: I see. So, Hyacinthia, I like you. Could you go out with me?
Hyacinthia: ...
Dan Heng: Hyacinthia?
Hyacinthia: Can you please not give me a heart attack like that?!
Dan Heng: But you said...
Hyacinthia: I know what I said... Ugh, we have to work up on your understanding of a maiden's heart. But I don't mind as long as it's me.
Dan Heng: So that's a yes.
Hyacinthia: What do you think?
Dan Heng smiles and pulls her into a quick kiss.
Hyacinthia: Did you not have a race to win?
Dan Heng: That can wait.
Hyacinthia: (Sighs, holding his hand) Get work done, Dannie. I won't allow you to slack off just because we started dating.
