Kiana Kaslana tried to escape her beloved's tight embrace, as she didn't want her anger to dissipate. Her fingers curled into a fist as she prepared to punch him, but she stopped as she heard whispers of sobs.
"Sal?" She called for him, her neck craning as she tried to see him.
"Not now..." He mumbled. "Just for a moment, let me stay this way. I promise I will listen to all your complaints but for now..."
"Just what am I gonna do with you?" Kiana's expression softened as her palm gently caressed his curly hair. "Go ahead, I didn't see you cry."
"Thanks."
"Hehe, dork."
"Dumbo."
"So you have the energy to retort?"
"Thank you."
"Huh?"
"For choosing someone like me."
"What has gotten into you? I am still mad at you-"
"For someone who has never known the love of parents, you have given me the chance to become one. I..."
"Oh Gods..." Kiana shook her head as she gently massaged his back. "So now I have to deal with two kids."
"Hey?!"
"You are no better." She sighed but still smiled. "But, I still am not over this. And trust me, there will be a plethora of complications we will have to deal with because of your... Ugh, our heritage, but I feel the same. Thanks for giving me the chance of becoming a mother."
"Hehe, though you will be very irresponsible."
"Hey! I am just fine." She pouted. "Plus, I am very responsible; I am the pirate ship's captain, after all."
"Uhuh, being a criminal is being responsible."
"Like you are any better, Admiral of an evil Lord empire." Kiana retorted. "If we leave it to you, then our kid might just become an evil emperor of the Galactic empire.
"Or a Space Pirate."
"Still better."
"I think not," Sal retorted. "Both choices are equally terrible."
"Nah, being a Pirate is still better."
Sal sighed and then gave her a kiss.
"Thank you again."
Kiana gave a warm smile in return.
