Kiana: Do I really have to leave my room?
Theresa: Kiana, you have not come out since we left Antarctica, and that was over a month ago.
Kiana: I have been diligently studying...
Theresa: Really?
Kiana: Sorry, that was a bad one. But Theresa, it's not like I am not completing everything you asked me to do; it's just that I don't want to bother everyone else. Because you know the rumours that go around whenever I am at the cafeteria.
Theresa was well aware of how much some of the ship crew hated her; many of them had lost their families and loved ones because of Kiana losing control during the Herscher of Void incident. But even so, she can't let this girl who had fought so hard for everything hide in the confines of her room.
Theresa: It doesn't matter. People will say things, and that's fine, but you can't let that prevent you from enjoying life.
Kiana: I see... So, if I said I wanted to stay away from my friends, that would be a good enough excuse.
Theresa: Nope, not at all.
Kiana: Fine... I will join your vacation plan.
Theresa: Good.
Kiana: And Theresa, thank you... For not giving up on me.
Theresa smiled as she walked back to the bridge.
