Riker's POV

The lights flashed and the music blared as I made my way through our house. "Sick party Rike," Someone said to me, "Thanks man," I replied to whomever it was. I turned the corner and caught my sister making out with her boyfriend Ellington in a chair in the corner, "You do realize there are people around, don't you?" I teased, smacking Ell's head. "Yeah, yeah, yeah, whatever," She mumbled drunkenly, "But Riker, Have you seen Y/N?" She asked me. My muscles tightened and I swallowed, "N-no why? I haven't seen Y/N, all, um, all night, why?" I said nervously.

"Chillax," She giggled, "I just hadn't seen her for a while. Calm your tits." She joked, turning to Ellington and laughing. I took a deep breath, "It's like almost midnight, am I supposed to find her?" I asked them. "You don't have to." She shrugged, "But it'd be nice if you made sure she's okayyyy," She slurred. "Because Riker in case you didn't KNOWWW," She emphasized, you could tell she had alcohol in her system. "She broke up with her boyfriend a couple of days ago, or, wait, he broke up with her." She straighten out her story. I nodded, "It was my fault..." I mumbled, "I know!" I told her, "I'll make sure she's safe."

She smiled at me and thanked me. "No Prob sis, use protection," I rolled my eyes, making my way through the crowds of people. Ross was drunkenly dancing with his girlfriend, and no Y/N was in sight. "Rocky, Rocky," I grabbed his arm as he passed me. He turned around and looked at me, "Yeah man what's up?" He asked impatiently. Attached to his arm was pretty brunette, looking at him longingly. "Have you seen Y/N?" I asked him. "No," He shook his head, rushing, "Not since they were all playing beer pong in the garage." He said. "Oh," I bit my lip, "Okay thanks." "No prob man," He hurried off, pulling the girl by the arm.

I turned towards the garage, pushing people out of my way gently before landing my eyes on Y/N through the doorway, standing on the ping pong table being cheered on by the guys watching her dance. I sighed and went in, switching the lights on fully, "Okay guys, shows over, she's done." I said to them, helping her down. "Heyyyy, Riker! I know you!" She giggled drunkenly. "Yes, Y/N, you do. Let's get you cleaned up." I told her, looking at her wet clothes. "I fell in the pool." She snickered, taking my hand. She intertwined her fingers in mine as we walked, it felt nice.

"Look, Riker, it's like we're dating." She smiled, talking to our intertwined hands. "Do you just want to go upstairs?" I asked her. "With you?" She asked, "Sure why not!" She smirked, running up the steps to get stopped by our still together hands. "Heyyyy," She whined, "I thought we were gonna go have seeeeeeeeex." She pouted, sitting down. "What?" I questioned, "Honey, no, you're gonna go to bed, people are gonna be leaving." I told her, "Nothing else is going on, upstairs or down." I assured her. "Oh," She frowned, "Well, come with me." She said, "Or else."

"Or else what?" I smiled at her. "Or else I'll do this!" She hopped up, jumping on top of me. Her lips found mine all too quickly, the scent of alcohol in her mouth as our tongues touched each other. I held her tightly and finally had to pull away, "Wait, wait, wait, this should not happen, not now, not while you're drunk, and definitely not while you're sober either." I shook my head, setting her down. "But we've kissed before," She pouted, grabbing at my hand again.

"And that was a mistake. You had a boyfriend, one that broke up with you because he saw that kiss. That kiss was a bad choice Y/N, such a bad choice." I told her. "Oh," She said, "I didn't think so. I think you're pretty spiffy." She bounced back. "Thanks," I told her, "But You need to at least go wait up stairs. I don't want to lose you again." I laughed. I followed her up our staircase where I went into my room with her. She stood up and smiled at me, "Can I have clothes?" She asked me, looking at her damp ones. "Yeah," I chuckled, opening up a drawer, "These are probably too big." I handed her a pair of sweatpants and a t shirt.

"Do I have to wear the pants?" She asked, "The shirt is practically a dress on me." She giggled. I shrugged, "I guess so, whatever you want." I told her. "You can change in there," I pointed to the bathroom, "And when you're done, can you work the TV in your state of mind?" I teased her. "Yes, Riker," She cooed, "I can work the tele-tv visions" She cracked a huge grin like she had just told the funniest joke in the world, and her smile made the room light up. "Okay, Y/N, make yourself comfortable and I'll be back in a bit." I smiled at her, "Yell if you need me." I said, closing the door behind me.

I took a deep breath and walked down the stairs. Rocky came back from his adventure and started helping me clean up, Ross' girlfriend went home and Rydel and Ellington disappeared upstairs, meaning they'd probably be MIA for cleaning up a party that they had started. The three of us cleaned the kitchen and slowly people began to leave around 1 am. By 2:30 everyone was gone except for us and I remembered that Y/N was upstairs. "Shit, guys, can we finish tomorrow? I left Y/N upstairs." I told them, rubbing my eyes.

"Dude," Rocky raised his hand, "Nice!" "No, not like that," I shook my head, "That is complicated as hell man. Let's not go there tonight." I sighed. "I thought you liked her." He threw away some trash. "I do!" I confessed, sitting up on the counter. "I like her a lot. She's great, and gorgeous, and she's up there laying in my bed wearing nothing but my shirt and all I want is her, but I can't start this with her drunk off her ass. And I'm not the most sober person." I mumbled. "When'd you kiss her?" Ross asked me. "What- what, we didn't?" I tried to lie.

"Dude, if you're gonna kiss and not tell, then don't have some pink colored lipstick smeared along your face." Rocky laughed, nudging Ross' arm. They laughed as I went to the mirror. I wiped it off and rolled my eyes, "I didn't know Brent had broken it off with her." I told them, "He saw us kiss." I told them. "Dude, you kissed before now and you didn't tell us?" Ross asked. "More importantly," Rocky interrupted, "You kissed her while they were still dating?" He crossed his arms and leaned against the counter. "I didn't mean to." I told him, "We were sitting on the couch and I was showing her one of our new photo shoots and she kissed me just as Brent came in. I pulled away really quickly, but he saw."

"Dude, that's rough," Rocky shook his head, "But you do know that Rydel told me her and Brent had been on the fritz for a couple of weeks. He's not a nice guy, bro, she needed an out anyway." He shrugged. Ross chimed in, "I'm glad it was you, because you guys would make a great couple." He said, "I'm not sure how much sense that made. I need to go to bed." He sighed, hopping off of the counter. "Same." Rocky stood up straight, walking up the stairs with me and Ross.

I went to my door and called to them, "Night guys," "Night," They both replied robotically. I opened the door and Y/N was sitting happily on my bed, only wearing my white t-shirt, "Hi, Riker," She smiled, motioning for me to come over. "It's time for you to watch TV with me. Keeping Up With The Kardashians is on." She explained, "It's an old one, Kim and Reggie are together, and Kourtney doesn't even have a kid yet." She told me. I sat next to her for a moment before making myself more comfortable and putting my feet up. She sighed contently and put her head on my shoulder, grabbing my arm and running her hand to mine.

"Y/N," I started, "I told you..." I sighed. "Riker, it isn't a bad idea. This is what I want. I think you're fun." She sat up, looking at me. "Yeah, it is for right now..." I told her, "You have a lot of alcohol in your system." I laughed defeated, "It'd be better to have this conversation while you and I are both very sober. Okay?" I asked her. "Okay." She turned back to the TV, her head returning to its place on my shoulder, our hands detached.

After a few minutes I was nodding off, exhausted from the night we had just had. "I'm gonna go to sleep..." She whispered, looking over at me tiredly. She climbed under the covers and laid down as I got up, "I'm gonna brush my teeth." I told her. I went into my bathroom and put on pajama pants, and I rarely slept in a shirt. I brushed my teeth and sighed, going out to find her fast asleep on the bed.

I smiled at her small figure as I grabbed a couple of blankets and a pillow, making myself a place on the floor. After a couple of minutes of setting up my makeshift bed, I went to lay down as Y/N turned to look at me, "What are you doing?" She asked tiredly, "Why aren't you sleeping next to me?" She made her sad face. "Because I want you to sleep well tonight and not wake up to any surprises." I explained, laying down.

I heard a noise from the bed and a dropping sound next to me. Y/N dropped her pillow and laid down next to me, throwing another blanket on both of us, "I want to sleep next to you." She told me, "Whatever it takes." She muttered.

I smiled to myself and didn't complain, allowing her to wrap her arm around my waist and she whispered, "I don't think there's much alcohol in my system anymore... I think this is real."
