Chapter 5| Surprise Attack

COLINS POV

Later that night we would be shooting the castle's scenes on set.
We all made a pause and had lunch all together.

Josh asked Jen why did she have that bruise behind her eye and I tensed up for a bit.
She quickly said she had fallen on the floor and faked a laugh.

The night came and I read my schedule.

11:00 pm - Jennifer Morrison (palace's bathroom scene)
11:45 pm - Colin O'Donoghue, Jennifer Morrison (palace's bedroom scene)
00:30 am - Lana Parrilla, Sean Maguire (royal gardens)

It was 11 pm. I still had 45 minutes to wait.
I followed Josh outside and we talked about Evan and Oliver.

Ginny appeared with Lana too and we all talked.
It was getting cold and my jacket wasn't enough to stay warm.

I looked at my phone. 11:10. It's only been 10 minutes.
I decided to go inside the studio and sat at my chair.
Jen was shooting her scene.

It was a scene where she only had a towel on and she was sitting on the floor with her back against the door.

This was probably one of the scenes where the darkness conflicts with herself.

It was a really big bathroom. They made a great job with the studio.

Jen started crying loudly. I mean as Emma Swan.
She then grabbed a jar with flowers that was part of the scenery and threw it against the bathroom's mirror.

She was an amazing actress.

Josh then joined me in the studio and we watched her replaying that scene many times.

"Dark Swan scares me." Josh laughed.

"Same."

Then my scene came.
I had to wait 10 minutes for her to get dressed.

I read the scripts one more time.
She appeared with a night gown and sat at the bed where she was supposed to be.

I still had the same outfit but this time without the leather jacket. Just the black shirt.

I walked to the back of the studio and knocked on the fake door.
"Come in." She said.
"Hey, love... Just came to say goodnight." I closed the door and walked to her bed.

She was sitting on the bed looking down at her hands that were on her lap.

"You've been really quite today..."
"I'm the Dark One do you want me to celebrate ?!" She snapped.
I swallowed hard.
"I know... But we are still here. Nothing has changed-"

"There's the thing Killian that you don't get. Everything has changed! I am changed!"

I looked at her. She had already got up and her eyes were watered.

"I'm scared... 'cause I don't know who I'll be tomorrow. I'm scared 'cause I don't know what I'll be capable of tomorrow. I lost myself forever."

"No you didn't. I still see you every time I look at you. I still know who you are. And you better than anyone knows that running is never the answer."
