• Shawn awakes you from your sleep one night to take you on a late night adventure •

I opened my eyes and sat up in bed when I heard quiet knocking on my bedroom window. It was dark in my room, being that it was eleven at night. I reached over to my nightstand and turned the lamp on before quietly getting out of bed. The knocking arose once again. I squinted as I looked out my window, trying to make out what had been making that noise. The culprit happened to be my boyfriend.

"Shawn," I whispered, as I opened my bedroom window, "what are you doing here? It's way past my curfew."
Shawn stepped off of the tree branch and crawled in through the window. I stepped back as he closed the window quietly behind him.
"I missed you." He said grabbing on to my waist and pulling me towards him. He placed his lips on mine and began to kiss me, and my lips automatically kissed him back. I pulled away and lightly pushed him back so I could speak.
"Well a text would have been nice." I replied. Shawn leaned forward, wanting to kiss me again. I leaned forward myself and kissed him back. His hands moved up and down my back slowly before resting at my hips. His thumb on either side of my waist drew circles on my exposed skin where my t-shirt had risen, sending shivers down my spine.

With one last kiss I pulled away from his lips, but kept my arms wrapped around his neck.
"Did you just come here to make out with me?" I asked with a chuckle.
Shawn laughed, louder then I would have liked him too. I placed one of my hands over his lips.
"Shh! My parents are down the hall." I whispered. "If they catch us in here I am dead." I added, placing my arms back around his neck. Shawn just chuckled.
"Okay," he smiled, "then let's go so they don't catch us." He said, removing my arms from around his neck and walking towards the window.
"Are you crazy?!" I questioned, unsure if he was being serious or not. Shawn opened the window and climbed onto the window sill. Then he looked back at me and extended his hand, waiting for me to take it.
"You are crazy!" I exclaimed,  causing him to chuckle.
"Come on, Babe! We won't be out long. We'll be back by midnight." Shawn said, with hope filled in his eyes.

I really wanted to go with him. I wanted to spend every moment I possibly could with him. But it was late, I had to be up early for school the next morning... and I was wearing pyjamas. I bit my lip nervously and looked over my attire. I stared down at my pyjama pants before looking back up at Shawn.
"But I'm wearing pyjamas." I mumbled. Shawn dropped his arm and let it rest at his side, chuckling in amusement.
"I have noticed that, yes." He informed, "but who cares? It's not like we will run into anyone at this time of night. Just grab a sweater." He said.

Letting my wanting to go with him win me over, I went over to my closet and grabbed a sweater as he suggested. While making my way to the window sill, I noticed the large smile on his face. I smiled back at him, just as he extended his hand out to me once again to help me escape out the window.

We ended up going to a park not far from the house. We sat on the swings while we held hands and talked about anything that came to mind. He stole a few kisses,  and I would too, throughout the time we were there. We didn't stay too long, as Shawn promised our outing would be short.

Shawn first helped me get through my bedroom window before he went through himself. Beginning to feel tiredness come over me, I walked over to my bed and pulled back its covers. Shawn followed behind me and grabbed a part of the covers in his hands.
"Lie down." He whispered, and I did. Then he pulled the covers over me  and tucked me in. He then sat next to me on the side of the bed, facing me. He placed his hands on the mattress on either side of my body, supporting his weight as he leaned forward. His face was only inches away from mine, including his lips.

"Goodnight, Beautiful." He whispered, looking into my eyes, then letting them fall to my lips, before looking back into my eyes again. Impatient to wait for him to make the move, I pressed my lips to his. He pulled back after one soft and short kiss.
"Goodnight." I replied.

My eyes began to grow heavy. Shawn pulled his face back from mine, sitting up from his hunched position. Then a yawn escaped my lips.
Shawn leaned forward once again, placing a slow and gentle kiss on my forehead.
"I love you, Y/N." he whispered. I replied back, although I was so tired that I think it came out as an incoherent mumble. But regardless, I knew that he knew exactly what I was trying to say. I love you too.
