"Ooh Babe, this sweater is so cute!" I said, pulling at the burgundy sweater I had found. I grabbed it off of the rack and began to look for a price tag. Shawn came up behind me, looking down at the sweater I held in my hands.
"Ooh, but the price is not." I said, putting the article of clothing back on the rack and walking away.
"Y/N." Shawn called, causing me to turn back and look at him.
"If you want the sweater I'll buy it for you." He said, looking at the sweater before continuing.
"I've already told you that I have no problem with buying you things." he said, grabbing the hoodie."I know, but you like to buy me a lot of things and it gets expensive." I replied walking over to him.
"That doesn't matter. You're my girl, I'm supposed to buy you things." He said, handing me the sweater.
"Awe." I mumbled, feeling my cheeks heat up.
Before I could refuse to take the sweater he spoke up again.
"You're getting the sweater. If you don't take it to the register I will." He said. I didn't reply but smiled instead. I placed a kiss on his cheek, causing him to smile.
"You're the best." I said, before grabbing his hand and entwining our fingers together. I then turned around and pulled him with me further into the store. We continued to roam around the same store, looking at all the clothing.
Just when we were about done looking around Shawn stopped at a table that was piled with various shorts.
"Babe." He said, causing me to look at him. He picked up a pair of shorts.
"How about these?" He asked. My eyes averted to the shorts. Of course they looked like the shortest pair of shorts in the pile. I chuckled before replying.
"You always suggest the clothing with the least amount of fabric." I said.
"Do not." He replied, sounding as if he were a little kid.
"I suggested that you get that sweater, and I think it's fairly conservative." He joked. I couldn't help but chuckle.
"Thanks Babe, but I'll pass." I replied, patting his chest with my hand. Shawn almost looked sad, making me giggle. I walked past him, leaving him to say goodbye to the shorts I would never wear.
"Can you at least try them on?!" He joked, causing me to laugh some more. After Shawn put the shorts back we went to the till to pay for the sweater, well Shawn payed and I just stood there. We walked out of the store, hand in hand, and merged into the hallway of the mall.
"Is there another place you want to check out?" Shawn asked. I looked at him and nodded my head.
"Yeah, it's just over there." I said, pointing to a cosmetic store not to far from where we were.
"Alright." Shawn replied, smiling over at me.Just then Shawn stopped, causing me to stop. The people who were once behind us moved around us to get by. I was unsure of why we had stopped, but when I turned around just as Shawn had, I saw why. There was a girl who looked around our age, she had a huge smile on her face and a phone in her hands.
"Hi Shawn, could I get a picture with you?" She asked, as a blush crept on her cheeks.
Shawn let go of my hand as he replied.
"Of course." He said.
"Shawn." I mumbled, causing him to look back at me.
"I'll be at that cosmetic store over there. Just meet me there when you're done?" I asked, pointing to the store I had pointed out a few seconds ago. Shawn nodded his head and smiled before focussing his attention back on his fan. I waved to her, and she waved back, before I headed towards the store. As I was looking through various lip stick shades two strong arms wrapped around me, startling me. I looked back to see Shawn, his face next to mine. He wore a large smile on his face.
"My God! You scared me." I laughed, turning in Shawn's embrace to face him.
"Good, that was my intention." He chuckled, releasing his hold on me. I reached for his hand, wanting to be close to him. Shawn entwined his fingers with mine automatically."What's this?" He asked, picking up a tube of lip gloss.
"Do you put this on your eyes?" He asked. I laughed a little too loud at his question, making the shoppers in the aisle look over at us.
"No Shawn, that's lip gloss. You put it on your lips" I replied. After he put the lip gloss down Shawn looked over at me with a smirk.
"I know what I like placed on my lips." Shawn said, leaning his face towards mine. He was just about to kiss me when I pushed his chest back. We both laughed.
"Stop it." I mumbled, noticing the eyes that stared at us.
"You're so embarrassing." I joked, as I pulled Shawn with me into the next aisle."Can I do your make up?" Shawn asked, picking up an eyeshadow pallet. I laughed out loud once again.
"Just after you mistaken lip gloss for eyeshadow, I don't think so." I replied. Shawn opened the tester pallet and brushed his finger over an eyeshadow colour. He then tried to put it on my face.
"Shawn!" I laughed, trying to keep his hand away from me.
"Stop it!" I chuckled, causing more eyes to look our way.
"Trust me, Babe." Shawn said, sliding the eyeshadow against my cheek.
"Shawn!" I laughed again.
"I have to get the other cheek!" Shawn said, eager to finish applying eyeshadow on my cheeks.
"Babe, that's not blush! That's eyeshadow." I replied. Shawn looked down at the tester, reading over the back of the pallet.
"Oh." He mumbled before laughing. I playfully rolled my eyes. I rubbed the eyeshadow off of my cheek before continuing further into the store.I stopped in front of the various kinds of mascaras, looking at all the different colours and brushes they came in.
"What's this?" Shawn asked, coming from behind me.
"It's mascara." I replied, looking at him from over my shoulder. Staring at his eyes I had realized something I have never thought of before.
"Babe!" I said excitedly. I turned around and leant on his chest as I stared at his eyes.
"You have the perfect eyelashes for mascara! You have long eyelashes." I said.
"Must be the European in me." Shawn replied with a chuckle.
"Want to try some?" I asked, opening a tester. Shawn's eyes went wide and he began to shake his head.
"No thanks." He replied, beginning to back away from me. I made steps towards him, extending the mascara brush out in front of me.
"Come here." I said, laughing at the slight fear evident on his face. Shawn ran away from me before I could even attempt to put it on his eyelashes."Hey, you forgot to go into Victoria's Secret." Shawn said, just as we were approaching the store. Amongst the small crowd of people around us Shawn stopped in front of it.
"No, I didn't forget." I replied.
If I took Shawn into that store he would forget all about those short shorts. He would probably want to buy me everything inside.
Shawn looked at me with the same emotion he had when I said no to the shorts; Sadness.
I rolled my eyes and chuckled.
"Come on!" I said, pulling him by his sweater.
"Let's go look at some turtlenecks." I joked, causing myself and Shawn to laugh.///
