Wanting to be loved (Zuko)

Iroh tried to talk Zuko out of it saying that there was nothing wrong with a peaceful life but Zuko wants to have what is rightful his. The rest of the day I only talk to him if he asks me something. I went to bed early and felt Zuko laying down behind me very careful so he wouldn't wake me.

The next day Zuko says he doesn't feel very well and he wants to stay home so Iroh and I went to work 'Iroh I think Zuko is up to something involving Aang. Can you handle the shop by yourself?' I ask Iroh. 'I thought the same thing. Go ahead and try keep him out of trouble' Iroh says and pads my shoulder.

I hide so Zuko doesn't see me when he comes out. I begin to follow him but keep enough distance between us so he won't notice me. He switches clothes and he is now the Blue spirit. He runs into a Dai Li agent and then captures him to get information out of him. He doesn't want to say anything so I decide it's my time to help, I wrap the scarf I brought with me around my face so you can only see my eyes. I walk to Zuko and the Dai Li agent and bring some water with me.

'Why don't you give him the information he wants and I promise I won't drown you' I threaten the agent but he just laughs. I nod to Zuko to release him and I make a ball around the head of the agent and keep it there for about half a minute before I take it off. 'How about now or do you want more?' I teased him and he quickly shakes his head while he gasps for air.

'Lake Laogai!' he shouts and I nod to him so he can leave. We watch him leave 'Why are you following me?!' Zuko asks angry 'Thank you Miku for helping me' I answer sarcastically and he sighs 'I'm here so I can make sure you don't get in any trouble' I now answer his question.

'Now let's find Appa' I say and turn away from him. We reach the lake and find a way inside. We look behind every door and finally we found Appa and he is really glad to see me again.

'Appa can you feel it? Aang is here and he is looking for you' I say as I pet his giant head. 'He's here?!' Zuko asks surprised 'Yes he is here' I say while I roll my eyes. 'We have to get him out of here before the Avatar comes' Zuko says 'No we have to get him out of here and bring him to Aang' I shout. Then the doors opens and we see Iroh, how did he find this place?

Iroh starts yelling at Zuko and I stay out of it. This is something between the two of them. I walk to Appa and try to keep him calm, he is very sensitive and can't handle shouting very well. 'I'm going to try and get these off of you try and stay calm Appa' I say as I walk to his legs and take water to cut them. One by one I release his feet. Now Zuko and Iroh are done fighting and Zuko made up his mind about what he has to do with Appa.

We look for a way out for Appa and when we find it I tie a letter I wrote to his horn 'Keep them safe buddy, I will miss you' I say and give Appa a hug him then he flies off to help Aang. I wipe the tears I have in my eyes away and walk over to Zuko and Iroh. 'Are you sure you don't want to see your friends?' Iroh asks worried 'I'm sure and now I know Aang will be alright with Appa beside him' I reassure him.

I walk to Zuko and give him a big hug 'Thank you for doing this' I whisper and he hugs me back. We let each other go and walk to the exit and climb the ladder. Zuko lets his mask drop in the water and we look at it going down.

Letter:

Hello everyone, Aang I hope you will do better now that you have Appa back. I felt you go into the Avatar state and ever since you felt unbalanced, I kept wondering what happened and then I found out that Appa was gone. You must have been devastated but luckily he's now back where he belongs, by your side. I have to admit that I had a little help in finding Appa and you can guess who. I hope everyone is doing alright and I hope to see you guys soon. Good luck with teaching Aang earthbending Toph and Aang good luck with mastering it.
