We walk for a little while and then Aang activates a boobytrap. He could use his airbending just in time to prevent him from falling on the spikes that are in the ground. I use the water I brought to make a little icebridge to the other side and Zuko runs along the stone wall.
I melt the water and put it back. Eventually we reach a door that could only be opened at the right time, when the sun hits the globe. Zuko speeds it up by using his swords to redirect the sunlight and it works, the doors open and we step inside. We see all different kinds of statues that all stand in a special position. Aang tries one and the floor goes down a little.
He runs over to Zuko and says he has to dance with him. ''What why should I dance with you?!'' Zuko questions but he listens and they do the dance. After they finished a golden egg appears, I think it's a trap and so does Aang but Zuko picked it up anyway.
Then there came this green slime out of the opening under the egg and Zuko was shot up against a rack in the ceiling. Aang tries to get away from it and I use my water to jump up to Zuko but as soon as I touched the rails I was stuck. I tried to free my hand but it didn't work. ''What is this stuff?'' I groaned. Suddenly there was Aang, also stuck. The green slime pushed us against the rack and then it stopped.
Aang began to shout for help but no one is around so no one can help us. ''We should think about our place in the universe'' Zuko said when Aang asked what we should do now. We looked up to the stars who looked beautiful when suddenly there was a man with face paint on.
He and some others got us out of there and now we sat on the ground getting licked clean by some animals. The man that helped us accused us wanting to steal the egg. Zuko and Aang convinced them that we didn't want to steal it, but that they want to learn firebending from the original source.
Aang, who usually doesn't say it at first hand tells them that he is the Avatar and Zuko tells them that he is the crown prince of the Fire Nation, but I don't know if that was so smart to say. Now the man looks at me ''I'm Miku and I'm a waterbender. My father is from the Fire Nation though'' I tell them and I see the people around us look weird.
''If you're a waterbender what are you doing here?'' the man asks me. ''I wanted to go with my friend and my boyfriend on this journey. And I would like to know more about the source where my father draws of drew his power from'' I tell them and it's true I want to know more about firebending. So many people see it as something devastating, but I think it has beauty in it. Fire isn't to only element that can kill others, all the elements can.
The man looks at Zuko and Aang and tells them that the masters will see for themselves if they are worthy and if they don't they will be destroyed on the spot. I shivered and take Zuko's hand in mine.
They walk to a building that looks like a temple and at the end there is this massive fire. The man explains that this was the first fire that the dragons gave to the people and it's burning for thousands of years. The man tells Zuko and Aang that they each have to present the masters with fire from the eternal flame.
I see Aang anxious face, he never really learned to use fire and now he has to keep it burning until they reach the masters. He says it feels like a little heartbeat and the man explains that fire is life and not just destruction.
Zuko and Aang have to follow a path that leads to the cave where the masters are and they have to keep the flame burning so they can present it to the masters. I wasn't allowed to go with them so I had to go up there with the sunwarriors who gave me curious looks.
''So your father is Fire Nation and you're a waterbender. Does that mean that your mother is a waterbender?'' a woman asks me. ''Yeah that's right. My mother grew up in the northern Water Tribe. They met while they were fighting. My mother went with the warriors because she could heal, women at the northern watertibe aren't allowed to use waterbending to fight but only to heal'' I explain to her.
''Why aren't they allowed to fight?'' she asks me. ''I don't know it's some sort of rule I guess. I grew up at the southern Water Tribe and when there were waterbenders they all left and went to fight and not only the men, but a friend of mine is the last waterbender of the southern tribe'' I tell her.
''How come she is the last and that you're raised at the southern tribe?'' she now asks. ''The Fire Nation took everyone away. And I was raised there because my mother brought me there. If she brought me to her own tribe they would've kept her there or did something horrible to me if they found out who my father was, so that's why'' I explain again, this woman is really curious. She wants to ask something again, but we reached our destination.
