Aang is still not back and it is dark already, now I'm getting worried too. I know that he is save, I can feel it, but not knowing where he is, is driving me crazy. Finally I feel Aang presence getting closer. ''He is coming'' I whisper.

''Aang where have you been? We were worried sick!'' Katara says to him when he walks into the cave. He starts telling that he was invited to play with some kids he met at school. Sokka has a panicked look on his face and it gets worse when Aang tells us he will go back tomorrow.

I sigh and say nothing I know it won't matter, Aang has made up his mind.

Sokka tries talking to Aang about his idea and that it's stupid and dangerous and so on. But then Aang starts about this secret river that would go straight to the palace and now Sokka is interested. I sigh and smile, Aang knows how to play Sokka the right way and I like it.

The next day I train with Toph inside the cave until Aang comes back saying his 'parents' need to come to school. I knew this was bound to happen, Aang always attracted problems. So Katara and Sokka dressed up and went to school with Aang.

I start to prepare dinner so we can eat when they return. I guess Aang will be hungry after a whole day of school. ''You know, you can be quit caring and motherly if people get a chance to get to know you.'' Toph says out of the blue and I just stare at her, no one has ever said I was a caring person to me, so I'm stunned.

''I know you are staring, just say thank you and get on with what you are doing'' she waves of. ''Well thank you Toph. You can be very soft underneath your though surface'' I say and go on with dinner. Now I feel her staring at me and smirk. ''You can say thank you and get on with what you were doing you know'' I throw back at her. ''Thanks, I guess'' I hear her mumble and I smile at her.

Then I turn back to the food ''Aang is coming back'' I say to Toph. I hear her stand up and sit next to me so we can begin with eating but when they walk in Sokka is lecturing Aang, I guess he is still in his role. He doesn't want Aang to go to school anymore but, of course, Aang thinks he can change these kids and that they are the future of this nation. Aang comes up with the idea of a secret dance party and I slap my face and sigh. When does it ever stop.

When we all sit down with our food I ask ''So how did it go?'' I ask them. ''It went really well. Sokka was in a tough father role and the teacher was happy with it'' Katara laughed. ''Can't imagine Sokka with kids though'' I say and continue to eat.

I feel Sokka staring at me and look up. When he notices he looks away. Ever since he knows I can bend and don't like him anymore he is very careful around me, but I don't mind, I prefer it that way. After dinner we prepare the cave for the party and hide Appa and Momo.

The kids start to arrive and some brought music instruments. It is starting to get pretty fun but no one dares to dances unfortunately. Aang is showing the kids some dance moves he learned in the Fire Nation a hundred years ago.

''Who knew Twinkle toes could dance'' Toph laughs. I watch Aang as he is trying to get the kids to move. It's nice to see him so free and without worry. Now Aang takes a girl from the crowd and shows her a couple of moves and soon the others follow their lead. Aang was right about these kids being the future of the Fire Nation, maybe this will change their perspective about things.

Aang grabs Katara for a dance so I stand up from my seat and walk to the kids who now all stand in a circle to watch them. They look really good together and when they finish everyone starts clapping for them. Everyone starts to dance again but then I feel other people coming ''Sokka, someone is coming'' I say and he starts looking for Aang but they are in the cave already. Luckily all the kids help to make a headband so we have time to get away. I hope they don't get in to much trouble for coming and helping us.
