Wanting to be loved (Zuko)

58.

Iroh tells Zuko that he has to choose and that he has to choose good. And then Iroh is trapped in crystal and Azula comes in with Dai Li agents.

''Go'' Iroh whispers to me and I run away to were Aang and Katara disappeared. I hear Azula running behind me and then I see Katara and Aang.

''Watch out!'' I yell and then jump out of the way. And Azula attacks them but Aang blocks it. Katara attacks her but Azula blocks it. Then she stands in our middle watching the three of us. 

Suddenly I feel Zuko and he blasts fire between the four of us and is looking from Azula to me to Aang. And I know he made his decision and he attacks Aang and I block it. He looks at me surprised and looking like he didn't want to fight me.

''He's mine'' I tell Katara and Aang. This is it and Zuko knows it too. Zuko keeps attacking me and I keep blocking him but then Aang attacks him. Zuko flies to a wall of crystals. And attacks Katara and Azula focuses on Aang.

I see Aang fly against a wall really hard and I fall on my knees as if it hurt me to which it did in a way. I see Zuko and Azula now both attacking Katara and I regain myself and attack Zuko. I throw him in the water and freeze it knowing he could melt it but it would give me some time.

I walk over to him and just look at him. ''You can come with me, you're part Fire Nation'' he tries ''You know I can't Zuko. Your father will lock me up and I stay with my friends. I'm sorry'' I say with a sad smile and Zuko breaks out of the ice and starts attacking me again but this time he does it really fast and I can't keep blocking them and he knocks me against a wall.

And I see Katara laying on the floor. Aang comes to us but the Dai Li surround us. I get up and see Aang looking at me and I nod. He knows he has to do this. He makes a tent of crystals and I stand in front of it protecting him. I feel his energy changing and then the tent lights up and I know he now controls the Avatar state.

He goes up in the air and then suddenly there was this enormous amount of pain and I look back to see Azula and then I see Aang falling but I can't do anything because I can't feel my body anymore. Katara comes and catches Aang and lands beside me.

Azula and Zuko come to us but are stopped by Iroh. ''You have to get out of here! I will hold them off as long as I can!'' and he attacks the Dai Li. Katara gets me and Aang in the water and brings us up ''No! Iroh, Katara we have to help him'' I say as I see Iroh surrendering himself. ''We can't'' she says sad and I know it's truth we have to get Aang to safety.

I see Zuko looking at me with a sad face and I look at him the same and then close my eyes. We find Appa and get on him. As we fly Katara takes out the water from the North Pole and puts it on Aangs back and he wakes up.

I sigh in relief and feel better to. I have to find out how it is possible for me and Aang to be so connected because this wasn't normal. I look back to where Ba Sing Se is and hope that Iroh will be alright and that Zuko finds the right path for himself. We fly for a while and the whole time I feel Sokka's eyes on me.

''What do you want Sokka?'' I ask irritated. ''Well, I want to know why you didn't return to us sooner when you could just walk away'' he asks mockingly. ''I won't even try to explain it to you. You will not understand so can you stop and just let it go?'' I ask him ''Why do you think I won't understand? I'm a very good listener'' he says trying to convince me and I see Toph laughing.

''You are not a good listener and you will not understand. I don't even want to have this conversation just leave me alone'' I say and turn my back to him. Unfortunately he will not let this one go.

''I demand an explanation from you! Why stay with the enemy this whole time! Something is not right!'' he goes on and on and is now sitting beside me so he can look me in the eye. ''If you don't shut up I will freeze your mouth and nose and then I will throw you down! I'm tired and want to rest!'' I shout at him and walk away from him and sit down as far away from Sokka as I could.

I heard Toph say something to Sokka but I couldn't hear them clearly, I didn't mind. I really don't care what Sokka says or thinks of me. Thanks to Zuko I finally put it behind me. Now I kept wondering what Zuko was doing and if Iroh was alright.

I even wondered what would have happened if Zuko didn't join his sister but us. I think I would still be beside him. Zuko decided he didn't need me anymore I guess and that stings quite a bit. Deep down I hoped and thought that I had found someone who wouldn't leave me but I guess I was wrong.

We flew to Chameleonbay because it was the last place where Hakoda had been and Sokka hoped he could help keep Aang safe until he was fully recovered. After he awoke when Katara healed him he fell asleep and stayed asleep.
