Wanting to be loved (Zuko)

Iroh found a little house where we could stay and it was lovely. All these cherry blossoms around the house made it look so beautiful. Zuko wasn't impressed but I loved to walk around the trees. My burn had gotten a little better Iroh looked at it every day to make sure it healed well. Zuko and I hadn't kissed since we arrived but I didn't mind we don't have an relationship or something like that.

I was walking around again and I heard Zuko and Iroh talking. It was the anniversary of Zuko's banishment it must be hard on him.

The next day Iroh came back with more shells he found on the beach. I felt someone inside so I stayed out. I turns out the person inside is Zuko's younger sister, Azula. She is telling Zuko that his father wants him back home and that he understood the importance of family. I could tell she was lying to him and I wanted to shout it at him but I had to stay hidden.

Zuko didn't know what to say and she said she would wait till tomorrow for his answer and then she walked away. When I was certain she was away I stepped inside. 'What are you going to do?' I ask him. 'My father wants me back I think I will go back' he said with a big smile. I never had seen him this happy and it made me feel sad. He was going to leave me, was the only thing running through my mind. I walked away and heard him and Iroh argue but I couldn't care less. I went over to my room and laid down on the bed.

At nightfall Iroh came to my room 'I guess you're going back with him home?' I said and tried to smile. But Iroh gave me a sad look 'She's lying, Ozai doesn't want Zuko back I'm afraid.' He said and sat down next to me. 'How do you know?' I asked and he sighed 'He's my brother and not the forgiving family man. You knew she was lying?' Iroh asked me. 'Yes I knew but I thought it wouldn't matter if I said it to Zuko' I explain him. 'No it doesn't matter he thinks his father wants him back' 'I understand his hope though' 'I think it's a trap so I will go with him but you should stay here. Goodnight' Iroh said and walked out of my room.

The next morning I see Zuko getting his stuff. 'So you're ready to go home?' I ask him. 'Yeah I'm as ready as can be. Maybe you can come with me, I mean your father is Fire Nation so it's your home too' he asks me 'They won't let me in. And if they do my home will be a prison cell. Don't forget that they chased my parents and tried to kill them, maybe they succeeded. But you are going home and I will try to find my friends' I try to reassure him.

'Yeah I think your right' was the only thing he said. He was so happy he wasn't even thinking straight anymore. I walked over to him and put my arms around his neck. 'So this is goodbye Zuko.' and I kiss him. he wraps his arms around me and pulled me closer to him. After a little while I let go and put my forehead against his and look in his eyes. 'Goodbye' I whisper and walk away.

I was walking to the beach and walked in to the ocean when I was fully underwater I created a bubble around my head so I could breath. I swam to the ship and under the dock. I heard men talk and then I felt Zuko's presence. I went down again and made a new bubble. I watched from under the water what happened unfortunately I couldn't hear anything.

But then the guards attacked Zuko and Iroh and I knew it was time to help them. I send a big wave over the dock so the men fall off in the water and I freeze them with their heads above the water. I saw Zuko fighting with his sister and I saw she used lighting. I knew Zuko couldn't use it and I was afraid something would happen to him. I wanted to get out of the water but Iroh stopped her and threw her off board.

I looked around to see if it was save and got out of the water. I saw Iroh and Zuko running away and ran after them. They were by a little river and Zuko took out a knife and cut off his ponytail and Iroh did the same then they threw them in the water. I walked over to them and Iroh had seen me already and nodded to me and walked away.

I got down on my knees behind Zuko and put my arms around his chest. 'She lied to me' was the only thing he said. 'She lied to me about the most precious thing that there is for me! My right to go home!' and then the tears of anger came and I hugged him tighter. This must hurt him a lot. I can't believe she did something like that to her brother.
