Wanting to be loved (Zuko)

101.

We walked back to the castle and I helped Zuko changing his bandages. Thanks to Katara the burn was healing quickly. When I'm done and want to walk away Zuko takes my hand and unties the robe that holds my dress together.

I look up at him and he smiles soft at me before he kisses me. I motion my hands and close the door with the water that was in the room and freeze the lock so no one can come in. ''That is a very good idea'' he says when he kisses my neck and takes the dress off of me. I wrap my arms around him and he lifts me up and I wrap my legs around his hips. He turns around and places me on the bed. 

''You know you can't do such things before your married right?'' I joke and he laughs and kisses me again. I guess you know what happens next.

I rested my head on Zuko's chest and he played with my hair. ''Do you want to wait long before we get married?'' he suddenly asks and I lift my head up and sit up. ''I don't mind and you? What do you want to do?'' I ask him.

''Doesn't it mean something to you?'' Zuko asks a little bit down. ''Of course it means something to me or I wouldn't have said yes. But I plan on sticking around married or not'' I smile at him and kiss him on the cheek.

''Then I want to have it soon so I really can call you mine'' he smiles and holds me tight. ''Then we will have it soon oh mighty Fire Lord Zuko'' I joke and get out of the bed and pick my robe from the ground and when I want to put it on Zuko stops me and kisses my burn on my back and helps me put my robe on.

I bow down to his face and kiss his eye with the scar. ''I love you Zuko, I really do and I hope to spend the rest of my life with you'' I tell him and realize that this is the first time I said out loud that I loved him and from the look on Zuko's face he realized as well.

''I love you too Miku and we will spend the rest of our lives together'' he says and hugs me but since I'm standing and he still sitting on the bed he hugs my stomach and I wrap my arms around his head and kiss the top of his head.

We both get dressed and I fix my hair. We walk out of the room after I melt the ice around the lock. On our way to the kitchen we run into Toph who is smiling at us. ''You can't do stuff like that before your married'' she jokes and I see Zuko's face turning red. ''That's what I told him but he didn't listen'' I tell Toph. Why try to deny it when she knows it's true.

Toph jumped on the counter and I was looking for food. When I found something I fixed something for the three of us and Zuko sat down at the table. ''So when is the wedding because I'm not going to wear a dress'' Toph asked when I handed her the food and I sat down on the table after handing Zuko his food. ''We don't know yet but we want to have it soon'' I tell her and she nods.

The whole week went like this we all walked around the castle and eat together. Toph made jokes about Zuko and mine nightly activities as she would call it and Zuko still wasn't used to this but I ignored her while the rest of them laughed.

Because Iroh wanted to stay and conquer his tea shop back in Ba Sing Se we haven't seen him since we left the White Lotus camp so we all decided to go to Ba Sing Se. And like the old days we went on Appa. Iroh was happy to see us and of course Toph had to mention our nightly activities to Iroh. 

''You can't do that before you are married!'' he said and he meant it. And I didn't know it was possible but Zuko got even more red than normal when Iroh spoke to him about the birds and the bees and I tried my hardest not to laugh at his face.

Then Iroh turned to me ''Are you listening Miku because I'm sure your grandfather would want me to tell you this'' Iroh said dead serious. ''Yeah I'm listening Iroh don't worry it won't happen again'' I say and look at Zuko.

We walk out of the tea shop and walk around the city. ''Did you mean what you said to my uncle?'' Zuko asks carefully. ''What do you mean?'' I ask confused.

''About that it won't happen again?'' he whispers and I have to hold back my laughter. ''No of course I didn't mean that'' I say and kiss him and then look at his relieved face and laugh out loud.

We walk back and when I look at the balcony I see Katara and Aang kiss and poke Zuko and point at them. ''Now we are all going to be one big family'' I whisper to him and we walk away.

After a couple of weeks in Ba Sing Se Zuko and I have to return to the Fire Nation capital and make de arrangements for our wedding. Of course Iroh would come and we contacted my grandfather and he would come to and bring Gran-gran with him.
