New update! I'm excited for you guys to read this and thank you so much for all your comments--they mean so much!!
I hope everyone is having a great weekend. I went to Six Flag's Fright Fest yesterday and it was a lot of fun!

Hermione promised Harry that she would help him study for the Final Task.
"I have no idea what to expect," Harry said stressfully. They were seated in a nearly empty library with only a few other First Years studying for a Charms test the next day. Some of them kept looking over at them.
Hermione felt bad for her best friend. She has been so caught up with Zack and Draco that she had nearly forgotten that Harry has to go through a deadly task in less than three days.
"You're Harry Potter, you can survive anything," Hermione tried to joke with him. Harry wasn't in the mood. He tried to crack a smile but remained staring at the wall.
Hermione tried another approach. "Have you talked to Cho lately?"
He turned to face her with a wretched face. "Not lately. Not since the Yule Ball."
"Oh," Hermione played with a curl hanging loose. "Viktor talked to me earlier today."
That got his attention. "About what?"
"He wanted to know if I would help him for the Final Task," Hermione answered.
Harry looked surprised. "Doesn't he know that you're best friends with me?'
Hermione shrugged. "Who knows."
"You didn't help him though," Harry continued.
The brunette gave Harry wide eyes and said, "Of course not!"
Harry smiled, "Thanks, Hermione. But if you want, you can leave. It's not like we're even doing anything."
They spent the last half an hour reading out of a textbook dedicated to spells that could save your life in different situations. After quizzing Harry four times for each spell, he knew every wand movement and incantation by heart. Then, after that, they started talking, not knowing what to review next.
"Harry, I have to ask you something random," Hermione started.
Harry looked at her suspiciously. "What is it?"
Hermione started playing with her hair again, and then dropped it. "This is going to sound weird. I want to know..how do you know when you like someone?"
Harry looked confused and Hermione huffed. "Oh, for goodness sake. How do you know if, you know, you fancy someone?"
Harry took a while before responding. Then, he said, "Well, I guess you know when you can't stop thinking about them. You always want to be around them, and when you're not, you're thinking of when you're going to see them again and what you're going to do."
Hermione nodded, taking a deep breath. "Is that how you feel about Cho?"
Harry considered it and sighed. "Well, I don't know really. I think she's pretty, but I don't think about her all the time. Only when she's in sight."
That last part hit Hermione. Only when they're in sight. She wondered if Draco only thought about her when they had Potions together and he saw her.
"Hermione, why are you asking me all this?" Harry asked, curiously gleaming in his eyes.
"I was just wondering," Hermione muttered and looked up to see Harry grinning.
"Who is he?" He asked and Hermione laughed.
