When You Get Seriously Hurt ~Steven~

You and your dad had decided to take a walk. You were walking on the beach enjoying the cool night air. You sad smiles up at the stars. You look down at him and laugh. He looks up at you and you laugh harder. You fall backward and continue to laugh. He silently watches. He was so confused. You could help but laugh harder.

"Oh. Oh. Oh man. Dad I'm so much taller than you!" You start to laugh again.

He begins to laugh too. Your dad was only 15. You stop laughing after a while and get up. You continue your walk. You stop after a while and look up at the stars. Steven seemed transfixed. You look up and see thousands of sparkling stars. Steven only blinks and that's it.

"Hey dad? Are you alright?" You asked and he seemed to snap out of it.

"Yeah. Just looking for the homeworld star." He said and you look at him confused.

"Homeowrld star?" You asked and he nods.

"Yes." You were about to respond when something slams into you.

Steven yelled out in surprise and you fall into the sand. He runs to your side and you look up. Your eyes widen. A creature stood above you. It had several random limbs sticking out of odd places in its body. It's gem was an odd shape and had many different colors. Your father stares at it.

"(Y/n) get out of here!" He says to you.

"What!? Why!? What is that thing?!" You ask and he turns to you.

The creature grabs him and tosses him into the ocean. You watch in horror as he slams into the water. You turn back to the creature. It slowly advances towards you. You move backwards but gets cornered. You look up at it in fear. It jumps onto you and begins to pummel you.

You open your eyes. You see your dad and the gems watching you. You look at them. Steven hugs you tightly and you hug back. They all smile and you smile back.

"Dad are you ok? That thing threw you into the ocean and I though you were hurt." You ask and he nods.

"Yeah. I landed in the water and crawled back out. Then I took care of the gem mutant and ran to get the gems." You nod and look at them all.

"Whats a gem mutant?" You ask and Garnet Sat down.

"A long time ago there was a war between gems here on earth. We won and the homeworld gems went back to their planet. They were sore losers. The sent gems back to Earth to collect the gem shards of our fellow Crystal Gems. They too them and fused them together creating a force fused gem mutants. It was punishment for our rebellion. It's isn't right." Your eyes widen as you process what had happened and what Garnet was telling you.

"I see." You say nodding.

"I'm sorry that thing hurt you and I wasn't there to help." Steven said as you hug him.

"Dont worry dad I'm ok." You say and everyone smiles.
