Pearl was sleeping on the couch with you. You open your eyes to see a hologram on the ceiling. You watch with sparkly eyes as it plays.
"Everything I did. I did for her. I want to be great for her." You mom was speaking in the hologram making you smile.
"Please Rose. Let me fight for you."
"No Pearl. You can't risk your life for me."
"B-but I need to prove that I can be strong for you! I can be great for you!"
Your mom opened her eyes and tears streamed down her face. You looked at her and she looked at you. She wiped her eyes and you hug her.
"Mommy. Great." You say softly.
She looked at you. "Y-you think I'm great?" She asked, you nod.
She hugged you tightly.
"Your great too (y/n)."
