Your mom sat you down on the couch. She looked you in the eyes and you looked back at her.
"(Y/n) I have to tell you something." She said very seriously.
"What is it mom?" You asked her.
"(Y/n).....you're adopted...." Your eyes widened.
"N-no.....it can't be true!" You yell.
"It is. I'm sorry (Y/n)." She said sadly.
Tears streamed down your face as you stood up and ran out of the temple. You kept running. You didn't know if she was following you or not and you didn't care. You kept running. You ran until you fell to your hands and knees. You looked around. It was dark and it seemed you were in a new place. More tears streamed down your face as you tried to catch your breath.
"I'm adopted...."
