Chapter 11

Nikki's POV

"C'mon I don't wanna be late to school" I say practically dragging Chase in the building

"I told you I don't wanna go to school today" he said holding the frame of the doors

"Don't make me use my super strength Chase" he turned to me squinting his eyes "you wouldn't" I squinted back "try me" I say activating it.

I finally got him in.

"What is the matter with you today?" I ask

"Nothing but I'm just a bit worried" "ok? Go to the bathroom and splash some water on your face then come back out" I say clutching his arm

"Fine ill see you when I'm back out" he said kissing my cheek and leaving.

I turn to Bree "what's with him?" I ask

"I'm not sure but he's been trying to get out of going to school today" she said with a confused face

Chase. Not going to school? Something's wrong

"Hey I'm going to class early to study meet you in lunch k?" She said "k" I say as we hug.

Where's Adam? I think

I look around to see him by Lauren. There so cute

I decided to grab something from my locker.

I did my combination and grabbed my lipgloss applying it while looking in the mirror I put on the door.

When I noticed a pig behind me

"Hey Nikki" he said in a low voice

"What do you want Chris?" I say turning around

Chris has had a crush on me since 8th grade. I've turned him down tons of times

"Listen I'm sorry about your break up with brainyack. How about we go out for coffee later and talk about it" anger rushed over me.

He sounded like Kyle.

In the mirror I saw my eyes glow red "you know I actually have something planned later" I say returning my dark blue eyes.

Suddenly I felt pushed against the lockers

"Well I think talking and coffee is better then what you have planned" I felt my eyes glow red "I suggest you let go of me right now" "or else what?" He said not scared.

"Or else you have to deal with me" I heard a deep voice. The same one that ended my relationship.

This time I wasn't scared. Usually I would be scared but this time he was actually standing up for me.

Chris turned around to be greeted by a punch.

He fell to the floor and scurried away.

"Thanks Chase" I say hugging him.

"Who's Chase? I'm Spike" he said in his deep husky voice.

"Whatever you say. Thank you-Spike"

"Anything for my babe" he said putting his arm around me protectively.

We walked to our first class.

Suddenly I heard 'Spike' growl

"What's wrong?" I ask

"Hey! Eyes off my girl!" He growled
