Chapter 27

Nikki's POV

I had a decision to make. Do I tell the others about this? Chase and everyone was the whole reason I'm here right now. But I just don't wanna risk them getting hurt. Maybe I'll just tell Adam,i mean its his girlfriend that I'm trying to save. Yeah Adam.

I walk over to Adam who's playing with Leo's action figures I'm guessing he 'borrowed'. I sit next to him getting his attention. I was hoping I didn't show any signs I was crying previously. He looked at me and looked concerned. "Nikki are you ok?" he asked sweetly. The boy is like a brother "I'm not sure" I say a little uneasily. "What's wrong?" he asked looking worried. I sighed,gotta tell him eventually "Lauren was taken by Kyle" I say all in one breathe. Adam didnt respond for a moment. His face went from shocked to enraged "HE BETTER NOT EVEN TOUCH HER!" he shouts looking as angry as Spike. Which is really angry. "How do you know this?" he asks quickly "Kyle called Chase but I answered the phone instead. He told me everything. But Adam don't freak were gonna get her" I say trying to calm him down. "Lets go now!" he says grabbing my hand as we left the house. Not even speaking wether we would tell the others. I geuss it's best.

We went through twist and turns on the horribly familiar route. The one I was dragged to when Kyle forcefully brought me here. I cringe at the thought. Through the trip Adam didnt even think that I have super speed. I think he was to enraged in his thoughts. I'm enraged also. But eventually the thought came to me, Lauren doesn't know we're bionic. Well I guess she will now. We come up to the giant steel building that's heavily guarded. I turned to Adam "Kyle is expecting me not you. He will do something if he sees you here. Go to the back and listen for my vvoice them use your strength to bust through the wall" I instruct. He sighs "ok" he answers. I turn to go to the doors but his hand rested on my shoulder. I turn to look at him,his worried face was back. "Just make sure you two are safe" he says with softened eyes "I will" I say giving a comforting smile as he pulled me into a hug "I couldn't bare loosing my girlfriend and sister" I smiled as he called me his sister. That really touched me. "Thank you Adam" I say before walking to the door. One of the giant guards looked at me with a smirk "we've expected you"

Kyles POV

It made me grin at what I've got instored for Nikki. Lauren was just something to get her here. Sure I had to beat Lauren a couple times to get her to shut up but who wouldn't? I remember how easy it was to befriend Nikki. She was wrapped around my little finger. But then bone head Chase ruined everything! I still have the scar on my face. I'll get revenge and it will hurt.

"Kyle,Nikkis here" Ally says in her soft voice. Ally is my younger sister. Just by a year. But since what happened to our parents I took charge and now she works for me. I love her but I'm training her to take over this giant bionic dome that held so many powerful secrets. The only difference between me and her is she has a heart for people. Always choosing not to be on the room when I punish them. I'm sure she will grow out of it. "Thank you dear" I say as she nods and walks over to Lauren. I ignore her and go get my special guest.

Lauren's POV

I've been beaten,everything hurts. I'm sore and ready for everything to end. If it wasn't for Ally helping me with my cuts I'd probably be dead. She now was patching up my cuts for I couldn't move. I was tied to a chair. Messed up right? "thanks" I said offering her a soft smile. I don't understand how a girl like this could live here. "It's ok. I'm sorry my brother did this. He's just a bit off" she says not looking in my eyes. I start to hear talking coming towards the room "I'll be back take this and don't let go" she warned putting something in my hand I couldn't see but I could feel. It was round and smooth. It felt like a yoyo with no room for string. I wonder what this is for

Nikki's POV

I was brought to Kyle who bring me to the room I was in when it happened. But along the way he's got to smirk at me. I mean really like I'm not scared enough. I keep my head down and try to block out everything.

I guess this makes him mad as his fist collides with my shoulder. I yelp in pain "don't you ignore me when I'm talking!" he shouts. I start tear up from the pain,he grabs me by the shoulder he's punched and drags me to the room. My shoulder hurts! he throws me into a room.

I recognized the room. Still the dull and scary place that I remembered it to be. Except the wall was fixed. "Go sit on the bed and don't move" he orders as I nod and do so. I sit down as he leaves for probably some tourmenting machine. I sit on the bed and notice the sheet still had a tear from the beat down last time. And oh look, a blood stain that's probably mine. I observe the room. I want Chase. I want him here to comfort me, making me feel like I can do this, telling me everything will be alright. Chase, I need you. I see Kyle walk in with a metal rod making me cringe for what he will use it for. Chase I need you more then ever

Chase POV

Something was ringing in my head as I looked Nikki. Where could she be?! I didn't hear her leave. Where could se have gone. I could think clearer if there wasn't a constant ringing in my ear. Also the sound of feedback. What the-

Listen,bone head!

What the?

Hello? I know you can hear me!

Who's talking in my head! I think I've finally gone mad! How do I go mad just for looking for Nikki?

While you figure this out, get this through your thick head. My girl is in danger!

What? who's your girl? who's this!

Spike! The cool side of you. My girl as in Lola is in danger!

Lola? Where have I heard that name before....Nikki! Lola is Nikki! where is she?!

Kyle got a hold of her by taking Lauren. Adams there too

Wait. How do you know this?

I got through to speaking to you. Knowing where Lola is... Well, I may or may not have hacked into our global navigator to find her.

Why have you done that? How did you know 'Lola' was in trouble?

It was quiet for a few moments.

Hello? still there? I ask

I love her. I felt like she was in trouble so I took action. No more talking go out there and save our girls!

He was right. I darted out the room and through the front door. My Nikki is in trouble. And with Kyle. I'm ending this now. He will not touch my girl again. This will be his last time ever messing with us.

Nikki's POV

Another hit. Another hit. Another hit. And it keeps repeat. I'm being beaten with a rod. If I didn't know any better he was trying to kill me. And it was working. I was bloody. I was pretty sure I was stained with my own blood. Luckily he hasn't got my chest or my head. The worst he's gotten is scratching my rib cage. He was about to swing for my head when a girl walks in. She has close looks to Kyle. "Kyle! one of the men has questions about the plan" she says getting his attention "can't you see I'm in the middle of something!" he shouts "do you want the plan to go right or not?" she says making him sigh and give me a glare before leaving. The girl rushes to me. I coward shielding my face. "Please,p-please don't hurt me!" I beg as she bends so she's looking at me. "I'm not gonna hurt you. I'm gonna give you something" she says putting a little silver shell in my hand. "W-what do I do with this?" I say looking at the yoyo shaped object. I hear footsteps coming back from the hall "put this in your pocket and whatever you do don't loose it" she warns me before meeting Kyle in the doorway. What's this for? Kyle looks at a younger looking guard. He had dark brown hair,black glasses,dark clothing,and was about Kyles height. I didn't know what was going on until I heard Kyle "bring her to the room and make sure she doesn't get away!" he shouts before storming off to god knows where. The guy walks over and takes me by the arm. "C'mon" he says in a muffled voice. I follow him into a room where Lauren is. I was going to cheer but I knew the guy by me would probably beat my brains out. He sat me down in the corner and crouched down to my level. I held my head down so I wouldn't look him into the eyes. "What's your problem?" he asks with a smirk "nothing I'm just in pain" I say poking at my busted lip. "Will this help?" he asks leaning in and planting a kiss on my lips. Something about this kiss was too familiar. As we kissed I slid off his glasses.

"Chase?!" I whisper shout. "Yes it's me" he says with a smile as I bring him into a hug. "What are you doing here?" I ask smiling with as much muscle that wasn't sore "I came to save you and Lauren. Lets go" he says grabbing my hand and helping me up before hearing slow clapping. We turn around "well done Chase. You got past me and my guards, all to see your beloved girlfriend,Nikki" he says eyeing me as Chase wraps his arms around me and brings me to his chest shielding me as if Kyle were to come running at me. "I see you've gotten Lauren out successfully" I look to see the chair is indeed Lauren less. Where did she go? "but Nikki won't be getting past me. Not alive at least" he says scaring me. He throws himself at me, nocking me and Chase down in the process. I looked to see Kyle was hovered over Chase, throwing punches like no tomorrow. I got up and pushed Kyle off of Chase. Kyle uses heat vision,just missing me by a few inches. "Don't aim like that for my girlfriend again!" Chase shouts throwing a punch taking Kyle off his aim of me with the heat vision. Kyle was thrown to the other side of the room. When he regained his strength he hit Chase with the rod putting Chase on his back as Kyle stood over my limp body as I was to the ground from the pain. "And now I can finish you for good" he pulls the rod back as I close my eyes hoping the pain will be over soon. I hear the swush of the metal stick coming for me when it wasn't me that got hit. I opened my eyes to see Chases arm held in front of me. Blocking the shot that would've silenced me for good. I was panting hard from what just happened. Chase shoved Kyle out the way with his good arm. Kyles head hit the wall which helped buy us some time. I sit up weakly by Chase who's clutching his arm. I hug him, burying my head in his neck. "Thank you" I say crying into his shoulder. "Anything,for,you" he said in between breathes probably from the pain. I teared up from the moment. He literally saved my life. Last time it was a most probably I would've been killed. But this time it was certain death had a note for me. I kiss his lips thanking him for what he's done when I hear movement from behind me. I turn around and freeze at the sight of Kyle holding a gun. A pistol. Chase shoved me behind him. "Listen Kyle, don't shoot" Chase says holding his hand out. "Oh no, I'm done playing games. I want Nikki's abilities and I want them now!" I put my arms around Chase wanting him to be the last thing I hold. When I hear a familiar voice "Nikki throw the shells! Kyles bionics are the only thing holding him up!" I hear in the girl that gave me the little silver thing earlier. I feel in my pocket and grab two? I only had one. But I didn't hesitate to throw them at Kyle right before he would pull the trigger. Bolts of electricity shot through his body before our eyes as he shouts of pains and is brought to the ground. I stood up with Chase as we both were shaking from the scare. The girl ran over to us. I engulfed her in a hug as tears came from my eyes at being thankful and shooken up. "Thank you" I say happily as Chase engulfed us both in the hug. "No problem. By the way I'm Ally. Like I said earlier I'm so sorry for my brothers mistakes" she apoligizes like its her fault "it wasn't you that did this" Chase answers "what did those things do anyway?" I asked "those took away Kyles bionics for good. I was actually watching last time you two encountered and knew he would be back. So I came prepared. I couldn't watch him do that" I smiled and hugged her tighter before turning and hugging Chase "thank you so much" Chase thanks Ally. "You have more to find out. Head home and get the assistance you need" she instructs looking at the both of us beaten up. "Wait what about you?" I ask "I'll be here to take over the building. Turning this science takeover into a science helping laboratory. Turning around my brothers mess into a helping organization. But don't worry about me. I'll be fine. Honestly,go and get better" she says giving an honest smile. I give her one last tight hug "thank you again. I owe you one" I say before letting go and Chase puts his arm around my shoulders and kisses my head "don't worry about it" she says before we leave out the building,alive and together.

"You did that?" I ask astonished. "Yeah it was all us" Adam answers with a smile. I'm back in bed with Chase. We're stitched up and better. We just learned everything we missed. Adam never came for me because Ally instructed him to be there when Bree rushes in,getting Lauren,and sliding the shell in my pocket where they took Lauren to the hospital to get medical assistance. Bree got Lauren when I was distracted by Chase coming to my rescue. She never came and got us because Ally promised we would return. And she kept that promise. The best part is now were safe. The only real thing to remember this is Chases scar on his arm that saved my life.
