Chapter 14

Nikki POV

I heard the door open "I'm back" I heard Chase say probably talking to me

I kept quiet and watched TV

I heard footsteps walk closer and the seat next to mine go down

"I have something for you" Chase said

I kept my eyes on the screen

Suddenly something was put infront of my face

When my eyes focused I saw it was my favorite movie Mean Girls

My eyes lit up I haven't seen it in so long

I reached to grab it but it was pulled back

I look at him confused

"You have to forgive me first" he said with a smile

I loved his smile and him even though I was pretty ticked off

I sighed "I forgive you Chase" I say with a smile

"Great" he said giving me the movie as I put it in

I sit back on the couch by him

"You know what would go great with the movie?" He asked

"What?" "Candy" he said holding up Sour Patch Kids!!

I hate him for knowing me so well

"But you have to say your not mad anymore" I giggle

"I'm not mad at you anymore" he smiles and hands over the candy

I start eating it. Sour and sweet. What more perfect?

"I also know how much you love to read" he says holding up my favorite magazine

What else does he have in there?! He sure knows how to make me forgive him

"But I want a kiss" he says

I roll my eyes and peck his lips

"I love you Nikki" he says with a smile

"Love you too" I say before he hands me a rose

"I hate how much you know me" I say

"Yeah" he says putting his arm around me as we get comfortable for the movie

Lauren's POV

"You think Nikki will be mad at Chase?" Adam asks

"Big time" I say sitting on the bed

"But I think he knows her well enough to make it up to her" Adam sits down beside me

"Yeah he's really smart" Adam replies widening his eyes at smart

"Your smart too" I say nudging him

"I wish. I'm always being compared to Chase" he said looking down

"I know one thing that you got that he doesn't" I say with a smile

He looks at me confused "what?"

"I like you" I say blushing

His eyes got big "I like you too"

Soon we both leaned in and we kissed

I've been waiting for this to happen

Nikki's POV

As the movie ended I got up to stretch

Chase did the same

"I'm glad your bit mad anymore" he says kissing me on the cheek

"Yeah yeah yeah. I'm gonna check on Lauren and Adam" I say heading to the room. Chase following close behind

His arm was over my shoulders every once and a while giving me and squeeze

I open the door to see Adam and Lauren making out

Chase immediantly covered my eyes and mouth before I could scream

I closed the door

Chase brought me to the living room

I'm happy for them finally being together but I wasn't too keen sight of them making out.

She's like a sister to me since I was an only child so that was not the happiest sight in the world to you

If Chase thought she was protective when it came to you and Chase. Adam is in for some really deep protectiveness

After being in the living room for a while they came out

Lauren sat by me and Adam sat by Chase

It was quiet for a while until I broke it

"So what were y'all doing in there? Y'all were in there for quite a while" I say

"You know talking" Lauren says cooley

"Yeah I never knew you were able to talk with lips on lips" I hit Chase

"Wait you saw that?!" Lauren freaked

"It's ok. But I said stay close not that close" I eye her

"Sorry you had to see that" Adam said

"Don't worry but if you hurt Lauren Lola's coming and she's not holding back" I say making my eyes flaw red when Lauren looks away.

He looks scared

"Who's Lola?" Lauren asks

"No one. Just someone with a bone to pick" I say eyeing Adam

He hides behind Chase

"I'm scared" whispered loud enough for me to hear

"Good" I smile satasfied
