Chapter 46

Nikki's POV

After Chase left yesterday, I've been in my room. Trying to keep myself out of trouble,glitches,and new bionic abilities making me vulnerable. I've been thinking of the positive things about Chases absence. There were things, but it didn't help me much. But Iwas not moping around. I was entertaining myself in ways.

I started wondering how my second personality was able to communicate with me in my head. But I had no clue. I also thought over some things. Maybe I'll be able to control my weathering abilities. I get up and fetch my teddy bear stuffed animal. I laid it on my bed, in front of me. I take a deep breathe and focus on the teddy bear. How do I freeze it? My breathe? Hands? Vision?

I froze a wall with my touch before. Maybe that's it. I think of a blizzard as inspiration. I slowly reach out and touch the bear. Expecting ice on the shreds of fabric,a icy blue color,and cold to the touch. But what I got was nothing.

"Shoot" I breathe as I hear the door bell ring. I get up and head out my room to it.

My smile faded into a scowl when I saw it was Gwen. What does she want?

"What?" I snap as she scowls back and readjusts her purse

"Is Bree home?" Thankfully the answer is no. She went shopping with Tasha.

"Nope,good bye" I say closing the door but her foot stops it.

"Is Chase home?" I felt furious that she actually asked me this. But I kept calm because the last thing I need is to let her see my hair burst into flames.

"No, he's gone for the week. Good bye." I say finally but she holds the door open.

"What?" I bark at her and without noticing,turning her into a giant block of ice.

I unexpected start laughing

"Hey, I mastered it." I walked around, expecting it. "At least a little." I shrug. I wish I felt bad. But I don't. I jump when I hear a sheik I recognize as Leo's. I turn and see his jaw dropped.

"What happened?!" He asked while walking over and staring at the giant cold mess. And the ice that contains the cold mess.

"I was trying to skill the weathering app when Gwen came. And I accidentally did that." I say motioning my hands to the block of ice.

"Well you gotta melt the ice!" He freaks

"I can't!" I defend. "I was 'trying' to master it. And as you can see" I motion to Gwen. "I failed."

"I'll get Davenport." He says and I do something of my own. After Leo leaves, I take out my phone and dual Chases number. I was excited to call him, but not for the reason. Did he know how to control his weathering yet? I needed to know how if I didn't want a Gwensicle laying around the house.

"Hello?" Chase answers and my heart skips a best.

"Hey Chase!" I greeted with enthusiasm

"Nikki! How are you?" He asked and I giggled too myself

"Good, kind of in a cold situation." I say

"What's wrong?" He says sounding concern.

"Nothing big, but do you know how to control your weathering app?" I ask as I stare at Gwen's ice form.

"No, I never got a chance to go over it. Why?" I heard davenport coming and I knew that's my cue to find out how.

"No reason, love you, bye!" I say hanging up before he could answer back.

I'll explain to him later what happened.

"So, that happened." Leo explains motioning to the block of ice.

"Nikki, care to explain?" He asked trying to look like he's calm but clearly by the strain of his voice, he was trying not to become the next block of ice.

"I was in my room, trying to master this. When she showed up. And I guess I clearly couldn't control it." I shrug.

"All you gotta do, is get yourself mad. But think of something really hot. Then blow. Your breathe will be hot enough to melt the ice." He explains. I sigh

"I'd love to be mad at her. But at the moment." I start giggling "I just find this funny" I say starting to laugh.

"Your right, this is funny" Leo says and Davenport looks at him like he's crazy. But clearly he sees it from my view. "Almost as funny as the video of Gwen and Chase." He can't be serious. No way he's serious.

"Yeah! The video, honestly one of my favorites." Davenport says joining in.

"Your kidding." I practically beg. What's fun about my boyfriend kidding another girl?! This made me steamed.

"Not at all, it's all thanks to Gwen." Davenport says putting his hand on the ice.

I couldn't control what I did next. I breath a hot breathe that melted in a instant.

In a mad huff I look back at Davenport and Leo with a happy grin. Then it hits me.

"You tricked me." I say making anything with a burning flame, out like a candle.

"Yep." They say before high fiving each other.
