Chapter 55

Spikes POV

I saw Nikki's body shake from electricity and I felt this churn in my stomach from feeling like I'm hurting her. But I can't, it's didn't hurt, just knocks the wind out. All I know is Lola is feeling what I felt.

I imminently ran to Lola's side as her body collapsed in the capsule.

I help her sit up as she holds her head and shakes it.

"You ok babe?" I ask and she looks at me funny.

"I'm fine." She says taking my arm from hers. I can tell it's Lola by the voice change. Also the independent act.

"How do you feel?" I ask and she rolls her shoulder, feeling this connection to her body that she's never had.

"Good?" She answers. Looking like she's warming up to this new found feeling that I felt. I'm finally a person of my own. And so is she.

I look at the screen to see the line and I know Nikki's about to speak so I rush over and kill it so she can't speak. I have nothing against Nikki or Chase, but I'm doing what good for Lola and I. They've had enough time being dominant figure in there bodies, now if our turn.

"Spike? Why are you turning the tv off?" The tv. I chuckle at her choice of words. Having every ability Nikki has but never seems to want to you super intelligence. Her own feeling she can do things on her own.

"No reason, babe. Just tired of hearing the static." I excuse as she shrugs.

Lola stands up and looks around her body. Assessing to the new feeling she cant be taken back.

"Feel good?"

"Yeah actually, it's weird. I usually feel like something is holding me back. But I don't feel it anymore." She answers as she cracks her knuckles.

"It's a long story, but you'll sure like it." I say before starting.

As I finish explains she's not her own person but sharing her mind and being to another. Well, use too. Not anymore. She looks a little freaked by the new found information. But doesn't seem to fully be on in.

"So back up-" she starts but holds her head as if it will help understand. "Some chick has been having the same body as me. For all this time?" She looks at me desperate for a answer.

"Yes, her name was Nikki." I say and she nods.

"That's why people calling me Nikki. Explains a bit." She shrugs. But then looks at me like I did something.

"And you knew the whole time? And didn't tell me! How could you Spike?" Lola exclaims in betraylment. I hold my hands out and signal no. As my face drops in an attempt for her to see my honesty.

"No! That's not it. I didn't think you'd like it. But I was gonna tell you-"

"Hold up! Did you like her?" Lola interrogates with her arms crossed and a hard stare that's affective with her dark blue eyes.

"What? No!-"

"Did you two have a thing? Is that why you seem to know so much more about what goes on? Have you been using me?!" She shouts.

I rush over and wrap my arms around her as she scowls at me.

"You have every right to be mad. But I didn't do anything with her. I love you, Nikki is just someone I used most the time to bring you back. I don't want her." Not speaking of the times we kissed. When I first met her of course.

When I first met Nikki, I thought she was hot. Everything was perfect. Except her good two shoes attitude. But when I met Lola, there was something in me that made her mine. And I have never let they go.
