Chapter 36

Nikki's POV




"We got grounded for three weeks!" Adam says as they all come into my room. "I told you we should've used Bree's and I's speed to get through without sound" I say flipping through my magazine not looking them in the eye "I don't understand how you didn't get grounded when you had a curfew too" Chase says laying by me "because I'm not his real kid. It's different. He's able to give me a curfew but can't punish me" I shrug. Yeah I'm his bionic kid but bloods thicker then metal. "Plus it won't even be that bad. We can still manage to have fun" I say sitting up with my legs crossed,idian style "yeah we can do this" Bree says cheerfully




Bree's POV




*3 hours later*




"We can't do this!" I complain to Adam and Chase. Were in the lab playing cards. "I'm just as bored" Chase says setting down his cards. "Where's Nikki?" I ask "she's upstairs watching a movie" Chase replies. Just the. The elevator doors open and in comes Davenport "guys! I just made something that will revolutionize the way thoughts transfer and stay in capacity through therapy or physiological studies!" he cheers "English please" I request "it erases people minds" Davenports says as Adam nods. "Cool" I shrug "yeah it is! I gotta rub this somebody's face" he gloats accidentally setting down the device and taking a different one. Adam and I exchange a look "lets do it!" Adam cheers as we all nod. Grounding,goodbye and hello shopping!




Adam takes hold of the device as we sit on the couch in the living room getting ready for Davenport to show up. "This is gonna work like a charm" Chase says excited "I'll get to leave and bring Nikki somewhere impressive" he says "and I'll go partying. I got invited to Ashley Macoys sweet 16!" I cheer. Soon we here footsteps coming from the hallway "Adam get ready!" I say when the figure comes out we hear "hey guys you would enjoy this movie-" in Nikki's voice "Adam no!" Chase and I warn but he's already pressed the button.




Nikki stands in her position looking a bit lost. Good thing we just set it to 24 hours. We three walk over to her as she looks at us oddly "Nikki are you ok?" Chase asks. She looks at him unsure "um y-yeah I'm fine. I'm just a little confused" she says looking at all three of us "it's ok we accidentally erased a few hours away from your memory" Chase explains. Nikki suddenly looks at her necklace "how pretty is this?" she says admiring it. She reads the back and looks at me "Who's Chase?" she asked




Chase POV




Who am I? Who am I?! "it's me Nikki" I say trying to jog her memory but she raises an eyebrow "really? Have we met before? How did I get this?" she asks. Then she freezes and looks around the house "Bree, where am I?" she asks a bit stunned. I took the remote fell Adam "how long did you set this?" I ask and see he mid typed it

He erased the 5 month memory of us! "Adam you set it to 5 months!" I scolded him as Nikki looks a bit scared "I'm sorry I think I'm lost. I don't remember much can someone fill me in?" she asks. I grab both her hands in mine "it's me, Nikki. Chase, your boyfriend" I say as she giggled "your not my boyfriend we've never met" she claims making my heart hurt. She doesn't remember me? "do you remember me or Adam?" Bree asks "yeah of course. Bree is my friend, Adam, well it's akward" she says referring to them dating. She must've been sent back close to the day we met. "It's nice to meet you though I'm Nikki" she says holding out her hand for me to shake "Nikki, we already know each other. We've spent the last 5 months together" she looks confused "I don't know what your talking about" she says taking her hands out mine. "Nikki lets sit down and see if we can unfold something " Bree says escorting her to her room. I stand there shocked. My girlfriend has no clue who I am. I need to get her old self back
