Chapter 3

Nikki's POV

For the past week all Chase has done is worried about me. Asking if I was ok,never leaving my side,and tons of other stuff. Don't get me wrong I love him

I just wish I had some space to breathe.

After school was over I hung out at the Davenports house.

I was sitting on the couch with Bree when Chase came in with a disappointed face.

"What's wrong?" I asked walking over to him. "Nothing I just got a C on my test on the latest updates on presidential" "that's ok it's not like the world will end because of a C" "oh no" I heard Bree say as she left the room.

"Not the end of the world?! I'm suppose to be the smartest kid in the world not yo-" "he didn't finish before I started tearing up. "Nikki I'm so sorry I didn't mean-" "no" I cut him off. "You did or else you wouldn't have said it. I'm tired of this. You talk about how your not the smartest anymore and it makes me feel like you regret us meeting so you would have got the update" I said tearing up as I was walking toward the door. "Well maybe we shouldn't have" I couldn't believe what he said. His voice was way deeper. With a confident look on his face.

"Fine goodbye Chase. Forget about me because I'm not coming back" I said slamming the door.

I was so frustrated I couldn't walk all the way down the street. I stopped by the fence bringing my knees to my chest and burying my face into my knees. Crying.

"Are you ok?" I hear a voice saying. I looked up to see a blonde haired boy with dark blue eyes like mine.

I sniffed "yes I'm fine" I say trying to pull myself together standing up.

"Here let me walk you home and we can talk about it" he said hugging me. I just met him but I felt like he cares more then Chase does. "Ok"

Chase POV

I came home mad about the C I made on my presidential test. Coming home I saw Bree and Nikki. Nikki tried to comfort me. But I said something I regretted. She started yelling and I zoned out

I came back with Nikki gone and Bree standing looking in aw. "Chase how could you?!" "Bree what happened. I zoned out. I think I was in commando mode" "Chase Nikki ran out of here crying. She said your through and she's never coming back" I then got worried "she couldn't of got far. We have to find her!"

Bree and I ran around the block looking for her but she was no where go be found. "She's gone" I said walking back home.

I remember little of what I said. And I regret saying it. I love Nikki and I want her back

Nikki's POV

By the time I got home I learned a lot. For instance the boys name is Kyle,he likes the same music,and he just moved to our school.

When we arrived at my home we stopped by the doorway. "I'll meet up with you tomorrow at school k?" "Ok" I said with a smile. He leaned it like he was going to kiss me but I interrupted it. "Goodnight" then shutting the door.

I ran up to my room. Glad I wasn't as sad as I was about Chase anymore.

Kyle made me feel a lot better.

I was able to fall asleep fast.
