Chapter 28

Nikki's POV

It's been 2 weeks Chase and I have redone the whole bed rest. And it was just as boring as last time. Except the kissing here and there which is never a bad thing. But I was glad out stitches were taken out and we were back to our strength word from Leo is that Davenport is planning on getting intell to know ahead if anyone is after us or if anyone is out to steal his inventions. Which I don't understand because most of his inventions have to do with either breaking,working (which is rare),or blowing up in our faces. One invention turned my arm blue. Did I want to talk about it? No! Because my arm was blue! He was lucky he got it back to normal. But Bree told me he's hired someone useful as ever to get intel and to help out around here with stuff. I don't know who it is but I'm excited to meet him/her.

I woke up in Chases arms. I felt his bare chest warming me. He's been shirtless because of his stitches on his chest. He says he doesn't wear it because the string in the stitches feels weird against his shirt but I think he doesn't wear it because he knows I like it. I turned so that I was facing him. He was sleeping soundly. How adorable? I scooted up just a bit to peck his lips,waking him up just as fast as pouring ice water on him. Just not the same reaction. "Morning" he says burying his head in my neck. "Morning" I say with my hand in his short brown hair as he kisses me cheek. "Ready to be productive today?" I ask he chuckles "nah I rather stay in bed with you" he says kissing the crown of my head. I smile with my dimples caving in "that's sweet but were gonna get fat just by sitting here all day" I say giggling. "Fine I'll get up" he says as I nod,sitting up but he pulls me back down "not before my morning kiss" he says making me laugh before planting a passionate kiss on my lips like he does every morning.

After what went from a kiss to a make out session we got dressed. I put on a sweat shirt and jeans while Chase put on a blue polo that showed off his chest and cargos. I pinned my hair to the sides. I felt arms snake around my waist and a chin rest on my shoulder "have I ever told you that I loved you?" he asked kissing my cheek. "A million times" I answer giggling "well make this a million and one. I love you" he says pecking my lips. "I love you too" I say pecking his lips back. "Lets head out" I say getting up and going to the living room to see a sight that wasn't planned. "Ally?!" I freak she turns and sees me "hey Nikki!" she greets as I run and hug her. She's the reason Im he,let me have my excited moment. "How have you been?" she asked sweetly brushing her dark black hair behind her shoulders. "I'm good Chase and I just got out of bed rest what are you doing here?" I ask smiling "well I got a job as Mr.Ds intern. He contacted me asking if I was willing to help him protect everything he's worked hard to build" my smile grew "so you'll be working here! We will have so much fun!" I cheered as she nodded. "Alright reunion over. I need Ally for a couple minutes then you can do whatever girl do" Davenport says killing my joy. I glare at him before Ally walks with him to the lab. "It's nice seeing her again" I say returning to Chase as he smiles and nods. "What shall we do?" he asks. "We can go and eat breakfast" I suggest, hearing my tummy rumble. "Ok" he says snaking his arm around my waist, leading me to the kitchen.

Ally's POV

I had no clue Nikki and Chase and everyone were Davenports bionics. Pretty impressive, makes me glad I took the job offer. Nikki's a sweet girl and Chase is good to her. They stick together no matter what and that's true love. I'm positive they'll have a future together. I walked into the lab examining everything. "This is way impressive" I say looking at everything. There's 3 capsules. Which makes me curious because there's Nikki,Chase,Bree,and Adam. There's a giant panel system in the shape of an island so that's convient. Along with inventions of all different types. Makes me wanna be one of his bionics. "I'll go and get the paperwork I need you to answer. Leo! come keep Ally company" I hear him say. I turn and see a cute boy about my age,on the computer. "O-ok" he stutters as Davenport leaves. "Hi I'm Ally" I introduce myself "Im Leo. You smell nice" he says with a dazy look. "Thanks?" I say giggling. "So you'll be working here?" he asked catching himself from staring "yeah I'll be here a lot" I shrug. "You don't have bionic smarts do you?" he asked with I question "no" I answer "good then you won't be a know it all like Chase and Nikki" he says looking relieved. I giggled. He's really funny "so do you have a girlfriend?" I asked before processing my words. I immediately blushed by the sudden asking "no. D-do you have a boyfriend?" "no" I answered shaking my head. "Do you watch Pig Zombies?" he asked out of no where "yes! Best movie of all time!" his grin widened "exactly!" he says happy. We sorta just stood there staring at each other before Davenport gets back. "Ally, here's some questions and stuff I need to know. Leo, don't bother her" he warns as Leo looks embarrassed "well I'll see you later" Leo says "bye" I wave off. He's really cute! I wonder of Nikki can give me some advice.

Nikki's POV

After breakfast the Davenport siblings decided to play baseball in the back. They asked if I wanted to join but I declined. I wanted to watch. The team was Chase and Adam, Leo and Bree. It was nice being under the sun. The warmth kissing my body. I need a tan. I felt something block the sun after a moment. I open my eyes to see its Ally "hey!" I greeted her with a hug "hey Nikki. Can I get some advice?" she asked sweetly. I smiled and scooted over "sure come sit" I invited. She did so and looked a bit dazy and uncomfortable "is everything ok?" I asked she looked up and smiled "yes everything is fine. I was just wondering if I could ask you a question" she says looking a bit nervous. "Sure anything. What is it?" "I kind of like Leo. And I was wondering if you could give me advice for him to notice me" she said blushing a bit. Someone liking Leo? that's not something you hear everyday. "Well you know what? I owe you one for the whole situation so I gotta plan. Come with me" I say as I get up and walk over to the game. "Hey! can we play?" I ask. They stop the game and walk over "sure" Bree answers. Chase comes over and pecks my lips "your on my team" he claims me. "Ok so Ally you'll be on Leo and Ally's" I say winking at her. She grinned a pretty smile "ok" she answers as we split up. I go on the sidelines ready to bat when Adam is done. I see Ally protecting second base with Leo on first. There cute. It will work out.

Ally's POV

I noticed what Nikki was up too. I knew she could help me, she seemed like the type of girl that knew a lot about guys. She got me on Leo's team. I was on second base as I would catch Leo sneaking stares at me making me blush. It was Nikki's turn up to bat. She sent a wink at me as I got confused. Bree pitched the ball and Nikki swung the bat making the ball fly past me. "I got it!" Leo and I yelled before we ending up crashing into eachother. How embarrassing! I didn't know what to do so I ran inside. My head hurt so I put an icepack on it. Nikki came running in "hey are you ok?" she asked looking concerned "yeah I just got embarrassed" I shrugged she hugged me. "It's ok. Sorry I didn't think you two would crash. I thought you would lightly bump into each other" at least she's able to admit she was doing it on purpose "it's ok" I say accepting her apology. "I'll get you two together even if it takes weeks" she says looking determined "thanks" "plus I owe you so. But anyway if you hear a low voice and a sassy girl voice stick by Leo he knows what to do" she says that confused me. "What?" I asked "you'll find out. But keep the words in mind" she said leaving back out to the back yard. I'm not sure what she ment but I guess I'll learn it. I can guess being with the Davenports,its a surprise behind every door.

Hey!!! sorry it wasn't much of an exciting chapter but I needed to introduce a new member of the gang,Ally! I decided to keep her in the book. She's too awesome to leave out!

The girls she's based off of us just as awesome. I'll make the next chapter good!
