"A beauty pageant? How sexist" I replied seeing the poster for the Mission Creek beauty pageant principal Perry's started to raise money for. Her

I'm at the cafeteria waiting for Nikki to return from. I don't know. She just said it would only take a minute. Lauren said the same I wonder what there doing

I look at the doors to spot the cute blonde and her best friend

"I'm back" Nikki says taking her spot by me

"Where were you guys?" I asked

"Signing up" Lauren answered looking at Nikki with a smile

"For what?" Adam asked

"The beauty pageant you didn't see it over there?" Nikki says pointing to the pageant poster

Nikki? In a pageant?

Hm I suddenly like the idea of a pageant

"Yeah we saw it. So what do you plan to do?" "Well I'm going shopping with Lauren later to get our outfits. So yeah" she says shrugging

I'm sure Nikki will win. I mean look at her. Pretty,smart,bionic,nice what else?

"I'm sure you'll win" I saw putting my arm around her and giving her a squeeze

"What makes you think Nikki will win? What if Lauren wins?" Adam asked

"Can we please not do this? Me and Lauren agreed that whoever wins. Wins. We're not gonna get competitive" Nikki said like it's nothing

"Ok but I'm sure Lauren will win" Adam commented which got a hit in the chest from Lauren

"So when's the pageant?" I ask "Tomorrow that's why we have to get everything ready" Nikki said as the bell rung dismissing us

"Me and Lauren are gonna go straight to the mall so just head home without us k?" she says with a smile. "gotcha" I say as we peck on the lips and her and Lauren leave for class

Im sure Nikki will win shes sweet, nice, and bionic what else is there?

"Nikki has a way better chance at winning then Lauren"I say a bit cocky turning to Adam

"thats what you think but Lauren is a sure thing. She always smells like cookies and Nikki doesnt so ha!" Adam exclaims like he won the argument

"whatever" I say rolling my eyes. Then I got an idea "if Nikki win then you have to wear a skirt for an entire day" I say but I know she will win

"yeah right if Lauren wins then you have to wear woman's clothes for a day" he says walking off

Nikki's POV

I'm not going to get competitive with my best friend. I could honestly care if I loose. Me and Lauren agreed this was for fun.

Although I had a feeling Chase wasn't taking this as a fun contest

Me and Lauren were at the mall with our guys. They kept insisting they came. They said things like 'we can give you opinions on dresses' and stuff like that. Like they were trying to persway us into going. We just gave up and let them come.

We were now in Forever 21 my face store. Lauren's at Charlotte Rousell with Adam.

I'm going through dresses. Chase is actually oddly helping pick out dresses.

I thought he'd be complaint that he's bored
