Chapter 5

Chase POV

I hadn't given up on Nikki. If anything I would do anything until I got to have her again.

I was gonna do something. He was gonna hurt her. And I wasn't gonna let him.

After school I was heading out of the doors when something cought my eye. It was Kyle talking on the phone. I used my super hearing when I saw him mouth Nikki. "Yeah I'm bring Nikki out tonight. She will be mine and ill bring her back after. Yes she will be easy" I couldn't believe what I was hearing I wasn't gonna let it happen.

Nikki's POV

I heard a knocking at my door. "Coming" I opened it to see Kyle. Looking really good. He had a polo on with cargo shorts.

"Ready to go?" "Yeah"

We headed to the ice cream shop down the street. Kyle had his arm around me. I allowed it. Soon we turned to the ice cream shop.

We walked in to see a cute parlor with cute music playing and all kinds of ice cream.

When we got to the counter it had a happy looking man in a white shirt and pants with a pink white striped aprin. "Hello what would you like?" 'Ill have a chocolate ripple and what do you want Nikki?" "Um cookies and cream please" "coming right up".

After getting out ice cream we sat down at a table.

"I'm sorry about Chase. He was a really great person I don't know what changed him" "it's ok he just doesn't know what he lost" "yeah. I do kind of miss him" "you dont have to you have me now" "i know"again he put his arm around me.

"Remember not a date" "I know"

After finishing up our ice cream we headed out and took a walk down the park.

"Wow dark already?" I said looking at the stars. "Yeah there really nice" they had ducks in the pond close by. I sat down in front on it.

"You know Nikki your really great" "thanks your nice too" without warning he turned me around and he kissed me.

I was furious. "Get off of me!" I said pushing him off and getting up. "Not so fast" he said gripping my shoulder with a great force. I whimpered in pain. "Your hurting me" "believe me not yet" I was scared. I wish Chase was here.

"Let go of me" I struggled. But his grip got tighter "you struggle and its gonna hurt a lot worse" with that I stayed quiet.

He dragged me miles to this place over never seen

He brought me to this giant dome looking building. It looked like a super protected house. Like it had a secret. And I'm scared to find out.

He opened the door which was heavenly guarded he smiled at one of the guards. "You got her?" "Yeah i do Marty and with this now we will be ready" they both smiled. He then dragged me down a long narrow hall way.

He threw me in one of the rooms. Nothing was in it except a bed. 'Stay put or else" I was scared.

I had gotton onto the bed. With my knees to my chest. I started to cry. I was scared.

Chase POV

I was sitting in my capsule alone thinking over what I was gonna do with Kyle. When this bad thought came over my mind.

I had a bad feeling Nikki was in trouble.

I used my satalite locationing app to track where Nikki is from her phone.

I know this had to do with Kyle when she was in location on the other side of town. What could she be doing there? Oh no.

If he touches Nikki ill kill him.

Running to the location her phone was at I had my breathe cought in my throat.

Was I too late?

Kyle was going to extract her bionics. And the only way he could do that was by getting the chip in her brain.

That thought was too horrible. Would he really do that to Nikki.

I feel sorry for Nikki. It wasn't her fault.

I treated her terribly all because I was mad I wasn't as smart anymore.

I made her mad and lonely and Kyle coming along she really needed a friend. I should've been that friend. I should've been there for her but I wasn't and that will haunt me. It does.

When I came to the giant building I looked all around the house.

The walls were thin which means if Nikki calls for help I will be able to hear her.

I took a deep breathe and used my override app.

"Help!" I yelled so she would copy.

I soon heard her voice. By the wall a few feet away.

I wondered why her bionics weren't working. They wouldn't work only if your scared for your life.

They made her that scared? I better work quick!

Nikki's POV

For some reason I started screaming help. It was odd. I wanted to stay quiet. But now I had to face Kyle.

"Help help ah shut up! No one will help you. Who would? No one knows about this except for Chase and he thinks you hate him"

"Well I-I I'm sca-scared. How could do this to me? I thought we were friends"

He laughed.

"We were never friends it was all an act I just wanted you for your bionics. Your nothing and I knew you were desperate enough to trust me"

He said taking out a knife. What scared me most is that it was a butcher knife. Long and sharp.

"Please don't hurt me" I started to tear up.

He got closer "no one is here to hear you cry" he said as the knife got closer to my throat.

Suddenly the door is busted open by...Chase?

Boy was I glad to see him!

It startled Kyle he dropped his knife.

"Chase!" "Shut up!" Kyle told me.

I closed my eyes scared of what he might do to me.

"Don't talk to Nikki that way!" He said.

Suddenly his deep voice from the fight came.

It scared me. I only heard it once and it sounded way differant then his usual voice.

"Oh yeah? Or else what?" Kyle said grabbing me by the shirt and kissing me.

It was disgusting! He was trying to tease Chase and make him mad. And boy did it work.
