Chapter 21

A/N: I know Davenports name is Donald. I didn't when I wrote the chapter. But after putting it I left it because it's a book not an official Lab Rats produced fanfic I was hired to do. Thanks for correcting my mistakes,really. But please stop correcting me, it bugs me after a while because it was just a mistake. I love the help but not so much the same thing over and over.

Nikki's POV

"So basically this is some remote you made to control our emotions for missions to help us stay strong but your not sure which of us it controls?" I ask "yes" Davenport says looking over the remote. "How will we find out?" I ask. "I'll call Bree,Adam,and Chase and we will find" I shrug "good enough" I say as the guys step in. "What's up?" Bree asks Davenport "wait I wanna explain" I say as I stand on top the island. "Announcing another failed invention by David Davenport!" I announce as I step down. "Thank you Nikki" Davenport says through his teeth. I smile "your welcome" I say as Chase stands by me,wrapping his arm around my waist,and kissing my head. I smiled and kissed his cheek "ok now let me properly explain. I thought at the time it was a good idea to make a device that can control your emotions to help missions but now I'm having my doubts. I don't know which one of you it works on so I'll take a look" we all nodded and stepped back into a line. Spread out,we do this when were practicing his inventions. He turned the devices novel and I can't remember much

Bree's POV

We waited for one of us to react to the advice "what did you set it to?" I asked feeling nothing "anger" Davenport answered "where's Nikki?" Chase asked looking around. Suddenly we heard a crash "I think I know which one of us it works on" I say a little nervous as we investigate the sound. We see Nikki through one of the metal barrels. She's got a scowl on and her eyes are glowing red. "Ahh!" She yelled throwing a barrel at Davenports direction as he ducks,scared. "Nikki calm down!" I yell. She turns to me locking target. Oh no. Next she throws a barrel at me. I luckily dodge it. "Change her back to normal!" Chase yells as Nikki hurls something at him. "I cant! I didn't put a normal mode I'll have to set her to a mode and fix it later" he said turning the nozel as she powers down and comes back looking sad. She covers her mouth and runs into the elevator probably taking her up "where's she going!" Chase asks franctically "I don't know I set it to dad. At least she won't be throwing anything. Just go up to her and keep her calm" "how will she act?" I ask "you know just teary and quiet she also might cry a lot. I'm gonna travel to one of my inventions labs to get something to disengage the device and bring her back to normal" he says putting the remote on the island and running off to his car. "I'm gonna go handle Nikki" I say heading to the elevator leaving them to god knows what

Chase POVs

"We better make sure no one touches this" I say grabbing the remote "or we can use it for our own good" he says grabbing it "this controls my girlfriends emotions why would I use that at my advantage?" I ask "because there's a love mode and she could be showering you with kisses and love. You can use her sad mode to get her to cuddle up to you during movies" that was a good point but I think I'll feel too bad. "I'll show you" he goes to the tablet and calls Nikki down. She comes down with her eyes aqua and pink. It broke my heart. "Yes?" She asked her voice cracking. I go to her side and hold her. As she looks scared and fragile. She looks Adam and I and gets scared "did he tell you? I'm so sorry! I didn't think it mattered now that were together please don't leave me!" She says crying into my chest. What is she talking about? She stopped crying and went over to Adam "how could you tell him? I thought we said we wouldn't speak of it!" What are they talking about?! "What's she talking about Adam?" He looks nervous "uh-ugh" he stutters "we-" Nikki stops when Adam grabs the remote and changes her emotion to love. Nikki immediately got herself together and looked at me with cute eyes. She same over to me with a smile "you are so cute!" She says nuzzling her head into my chest. I liked it. "Thank you" I say smiling "and your smile! I love it!" She says cheery. "I've got an idea how about you go to your room and I'll meet you there. We can watch a movie together" she smiles "sounds like fun!" She says crashing her lips into mine passionately. It was a really good kiss. She pulled back smiling. She winked and skipped off to the elevator. After she left I looked at Adam "good idea huh?" He said a little on edge "what was Nikki talking about? There's something you haven't told me?" I ask getting closer "n-no she was confused o-obviously there's n-nothing I'm hiding" "really? Because you stutter when you are" I say. He doesn't answer he just heads into his capsule. I sighed. Maybe I could get Nikki to tell me. I headed to the elevator. On the way up it was killing me. What aren't they telling me? They can't be cheating could they? No! Nikki wouldn't do that to me or Lauren! What are they hiding?

I realized I had already arrived to Nikki's room. I sighed and opened the door. Nikki looked at me excited. I smiled "Chase!" She said running to me hugging me. I loved her what isn't she telling me? "I missed you" she says smiling,showing her dimples I thought were cute "I missed you too" I said a little uneasy. She frowned "what's wrong?" She asks "it's just" I stop as she smiles and slides her hand carefully up my neck and into my hair playing with it. "What?"she asks sweetly "is there a secret between you and Adam?" She stops for a moment. She doesn't answer "is there?" I ask "yeah but it's nothing special,just a one time thing plus you didn't know about it so we decided to not speak about it" she shrugs "why didn't I know?" "I'm not sure I guess Adam didnt tell you" she shrugs again. I take her hand and lead her to the bed "Can you tell me?" She thinks for a moment "I'm not sure" she says uneasy. I wrap my arms around her waist from the back,resting my chin on her neck,and I kiss her cheek. I knew she loved it when I did this "are you sure?" I whisper. She sighs "fine but don't tell Adam" she warns I nod. She sits on the bed and I join her. She looks at me and sighs "Adam and I dated" she says trying to smile to lighten the mood but I was freaking out! He's a dead man! "What?!" I freaked "it was nothing I promise it was only for like a week. Plus it was before I met you. That was why when we started dating Adam was so awkward around me but we've moved on" she says holding both my hands. They dated?! Hold up this means Adam had kissed my girlfriend! Like I said. He's a deadman! "How come you didn't tell me?" "I didn't think it mattered because we were happy together and that's all that matters" she says cheery "when did you guys start dating?" I asked looking at my lap "about a month before I met you and it was only for a week so it wasn't anything exciting. He asked if I wanted to come over but that was the week I had to study for a big test so I never met you guys yet. If it makes you feel better Bree didn't know either" she says. I'm glad it didn't last long but I'm wondering how I didn't find out. That's boy has got some explaining to do. "I'll be back I gotta go to the bathroom" she nods. I kiss her cheek and walk to the elevator. He's a dead man

Adams POV

I shouldn't have messed with the remote! Now Chase will find out I dated Nikki! We weren't really in love we just liked eachother and it didn't last long so why does it matter now? Lauren knows and she's ok with it since I don't have feelings for her anymore. I got scared when I heard the elevator doors open "Adam!" I hear Chase growl. I panic and get into my capsule "now Chase calm down" I say trying but it doesn't work "you dated my girlfriend and you didn't tell me!" "It was for a short time it ment nothing!" I defend "did you kiss her?" He asked getting more mad "a few times but I kissed her this is all on me" I say not wanting Chase to be mad at Nikki. She's like a sister to me now if someone would have told me my girlfriend was practically gonna be like my sister I would have never dated Nikki. "Yeah it is! I can't believe you kept this from me!" "Chase it didn't matter it was for a short time you guys love each other and we never felt that so who cares?" I defend. He thinks for a minute and goes to controls opening my capsule. I get scared but he doesn't get mad "I guess you right" he says crossing his arms "thank you" I say with a smile and walk out happily. "But if you try anything on Nikki I'll have Spike waiting for you,and you know how protective he is with Lola" he says leaving the lab.

Ok I'm a bit scared

Chase POV

I walked back to Nikki's room to find her asleep in her bed. It was cute,she was curled up,watching TV and probably accidentally fell asleep.

I go and lay down by her. Holding her in my arms,glad to say she's mine.
