Chapter 35 Part 2

Nikkis POV

I kept trying to convince myself to go and check in but I knew she should be leaving soon and Eddie has my back. I was resituating myself on my bed when I suddenly hear my room door open.

Chases face looked drained and I wasn't sure why. I sat up to ask the question when he crashes his lips on mine. The kiss was more passionate and hungry then our normal ones. So it got me suspicious. But all the same I bring my hand to hold his jawline lightly as we kissed.

We part and I wonder why the sudden action was taken

"What was that for?" I ask

"No reason, I just love my girlfriend. Who I NEVER would cheat on" he adds big emphasis on the work never.

"Yay?" I say more of a question. I thought I should be excited with the Gwen situation and all but him reminding me and hungry kiss got me curious.

He sits next to me and lays down while I naturally cuddle into the side of him

"Why don't we watch your favorite movie in the living room? Ill make the popcorn" he offers.

I smile and lay my hand on his chest to help prop myself up

"Ok" I agree then sit up fully "Ill be back I just gotta run to the lab. I forgot something" I say before he kisses me again out of nowhere. Ok something has to be up. "Be right back" I say leaving and rushing down to the lab to see if Eddie cought the reason why hes up

Chase behavior seems to be normal, but I'll take precautions until I get a answer as to why he wants his attention desperately on me now that Gwen's gone.

Eddies POV

Yeah, I said id use the video as blackmail. But Nikki could get me whatever I needed anyway.

Plus I was umm checking for viruses, normal things, when a light went off saying one of her abilities as been unlocked. Which ment she is sensitive to anything going around her. And this video will blow that ability into live action. And I plan to use it for my own personal amusement. Chase doesn't know I have it anyway so I plan to make my ability fully a where when he leasts expects it. Which is right about..now

Chase POV

I was worrying about how I would tell Nikki. I know you don't tell your girlfriend "Hey Nikki, remember the time the girl you hated the most kissed me? No? Well, it happened." She's gonna bug out either way. But I don't want to hurt her. It's clenching my heart knowing it happened. I mean, what if she leaves me again?

I sighed to wash away a bit of the stress and started fixing the popcorn. When, without a warning, I hear a shriek so loud that it shattered every window in the house. Making me cover my ears for protection. It must've came from the lab. I then remember who's down there.

"Nikki!" I hurry and go for the elevator and fastly push the down button but when the doors opened it was something I didn't expect.

Nikki, her hair had this firery glow to it, her eyes were orange instead of blue,and she looked really mad. I wondered why when all the screens in the livingroom started playing the video of Gwen kissing me. It replays, but doesn't even show I pushed back! Where did this come from?!

Ok ill find out after I somehow calm down my literally steaming girlfriend!

"Nikki?" I cautiously ask softly but she turns looking at me with a eye of ranpage to it. I got nervous and was slowly backing away as she got closer "N-Nikki! Hold on a minute." I try and stall but she seems to get mader by the words
